Loved how Morgan gave the game ball to Johnson after the final kneel down.

Johnson deserved it. As long as he can control the drops he's going to have a nice long NFL career.

I just came home and missed the game. Fortunately I recorded it. I will want to watch this one. Oh my God! I needed this. We all needed this.

Ciarrocco is going to regret leaving this program for a lateral position.

What a great season. Will be tough to replace some of the guys leaving, but hope we can at least repeat if not improve.

Johnson gets MVP. Wouldn't have complained a bit if it was Ibrahim. Both more than deserving. Felt like Ibrahim more vital by the end of the game.

Defense today was solid. Offense was incredible.

Is it 95% or higher that Winfield is gone.

He's lucky we don't play them next year, unless it's for the Big 10 Championship.

That would be the one way we could still lose the game...

I know! I was being facetious. And trying to hook SMF.

He has a million reasons not to.

I don't see how they could give it to anyone, but Johnson. I love Ibraham though. He's the consummate.... runs like he's mad at the turf... type runner.

Lot's of big plays, but a huge momentum changer early was the muffed punt.

Congratulations.

After 2 big games where the Gophers got dominated, they turned the page and beat a perennial top 15 team.

Receivers and running backs haven. Ibrahim needs a running partner, keep churning out the WR's.

A year ago the QB spot was up for grabs. Morgan has it and that's a good thing for 2020.

I love that it was the very next play after he was being a jackass on the sideline.

He also bobbled at least 2 more punts. Dude has very suspect hands.

Great win. The Gophers played with the passion the Vikings never do. Ten times the entertainment value of the pathetic NFL.

Badgers drop a tough one to Oregon. Big 10 4-4 with 1 game remaining. Hard to believe we had 9 bowl teams.

Record: 4-4

Michigan State: W, 27-21 vs. Wake Forest in the Pinstripe Bowl
No. 16 Iowa: W, 49-24 vs. No. 22 Southern California in the Holiday Bowl
No. 10 Penn State: W, 53-39 vs. No. 17 Memphis in the Cotton Bowl
No. 2 Ohio State: L, 29-23 to No. 3 Clemson in the Fiesta Bowl (College Football Playoff)
Illinois: L, 35-20 to California in the Redbox Bowl
No. 14 Michigan: L, 35-16 to No. 13 Alabama in the Citrus Bowl
No. 18 Minnesota: W, 31-24 vs. No. 12 Auburn in the Outback Bowl
No. 8 Wisconsin — L 28-27 to No. 6 Oregon |
Indiana — Gator Bowl vs. Tennessee | Jan. 2 at 7 p.m.

Our last drive was 16 plays and the final 8:38 of the game.

That's imposing your will.

It seems to me Johnson made a good counter argument to leaving before bowl games to prepare for the draft. I got to think he improved his draft position at least a few spots. That means more money.

I've been waiting all year for that huge line to physically dominate. They are big. They are strong. They have been pretty effective all year, but they never had that game where they just pounded the other line into submission. They picked a great game to do it and with Fa'alele out with an injury no less.

And credit to Ibrahim as well. Kid was not going to be denied any yards today, nor was he going to let himself be tackled easily.

He was a human battering ram. I couldn't believe a couple of the plays were it looked like Ibraham's progress was stopped, but he kept churning his legs and the blockers just plowed him forward for several more yards. Like I said, ran like he was mad at the grass. The Auburn defense was just beaten down and out of gas by that last drive.

Call me a bandwagon guy, but I will have to pay attention to the football Gophers, now.
