Actually, you misread ours too.  No one was saying that prices SHOULD go up.  I was just bemoaning the fact that they HAD gone up.

That's what I thought, and I was bemoaning they'd go up even more once they actually started going to the playoffs regularly.

Then ya'll went on about how they're really close to the playoffs, go to the playoffs more than other teams, etc.. which I didn't understand how that related to anything I said... other than that the price increase was justified.

With all this bemoaning you would think we were in a brothel or something.

Carry on.

Zach Thomas the latest purge from the 'Fins.
Old, damaged, goods. But a hell of a player at one time and a good community guy.
Parcells is gonna have that bare cupboard licked clean soon.
They must be planning one heck of a FA flurry.

Time to pounce on Taylor.  His buddy is now gone.

Wow.  I suppose that means that Berrian won't become available under any circumstances.

I'd definitely take Muhs as a "mentor" WR for a year or two.  I think he's damn solid.

You're like the king of the youth and potential until it comes to the NFL.

He's over 35 and has a 3 year average of 600 yards and 4 TDs. He'd be lucky to get even that. At this point in his career, I'm not sure he's better than Robert Ferguson.

We already have Robert Ferguson, and Bobby Wade.   We don't need any more "mentor" WRs.  We need a gamebreaker, that can catch and make defenses pay for putting 9 in th box to stop AD.  Mushin is NOT that man.

It is really sad that we would grab at any WR who might have been good in the past.  Mushin isn't the WR he used to be.

Marcus Robinson, Robert Ferguson, Derrick Alexander, Travis Taylor...

Were they on the Bears when their careers took their biggest nose dive?  Since Cris Carter retired...MN is where they go to die...And if the Vikes sign Mushin Muhammed...It would only further proove this.

Because you mentioned the had a sort off renaissance with us but they were still below average.  We don't need those types of WR's anymore.  We've had enough (and still have them on the roster).  We need 1 stud at minimum to be successful.

Ok. The thread was about is it now Minnesota where WRs got to die, or if it is still Chicago, but OK.

Jessica Simpson to Marry Tony Romo?
Thu Feb 21, 2008

Show Biz Spy reports Jessica Simpson's closest friends are convinced she is planning to wed new love Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo. The Dukes of Hazzard star has been seeing American football star Romo for just four months. But friends say she's so serious they are convinced she is already making wedding plans. "I think they're going to get married, said Michael Starr, lead singer of heavy metal comedy band Metal Skool and a close friend of Romo. "I wouldn't be surprised." Sophia Bush, a close frined of both Jessica and Tony who even once dated the sportsman, agrees. "I think they could go the distance," she said. "They're perfect for each other. They're both funny and wonderful and kind. I'm rooting for them."
