ORIGINAL: Lynn G. Tim - you and I are practically related now. I have also, for years, pretended to be surprised and shocked the handful of times the Packers have lost in front of my husband, but then I go in the other room and dance a tiny little jig. I wouldn't do that, of course, if the tables had been turned and the Vikings had been dominating the Packers for the past decade, but given the circumstances as they REALLY are - that's how it works in this household. It is starting to feel (knock on wood) that the tables may have finally turned (knock really hard on wood). In fact, this weekend, both his college team and his pro team lost and both of mine won. I think this truly might be the first time since I've known him that that happened. It's ALWAYS been the other way around. Knock on wood. Packers losing is the kind of good thing that should continue for the rest of the season. Thanks Lynn, I know that dance! and most importantly I know that feeling of the tide turning. It has been since 1997 into 1998 since I last felt we were long term better.
