Ant bets on packers getting a home cooking call from the refs?

2 mins left, browns on the 28 of thier end down 22-24.. about 50 yards from a game winning FG..

Most of you guys remember Al Pann. He seems to be touting Aaron Rodgers for this season's MVP. I certainly hope that, with all of the baggage Rodgers brought this year - waffling about whether he'd play or not, out with covid, lying about his covid non-shot ... that no one would give him the honor of MVP.

But then, this is sports, and crappy mccrapperson stuff happens.

Possible Packer playoff opponents:

Philly - Sure they can run the ball, but the officials won't let Philly win in GB just running the ball. They'll call holds on the Philly OL, force them to throw into the GB 2ndary that is getting Jaire back. Easy win for the Pack.

SF - Probably easy win for Pack

LA Rams - Stafford is familiar with losing at GB, he'll fall short

Arizona - The only team of the 4 that I feel could upset GB, only if Murray doesn't get hurt, and plays out of his mind. Is he any good in cold weather ?

Other possible NFC Championship opponents for GB:

Dallas - Could pull an upset, there may be a revenge factor for McCarthy, could motivate him to get the team fired up, could win if the weather is nice and Prescott outduals Rodgers in a shootout

TB - Could beat GB, as long as most of their weapons are back. But they may miss Brown, and it's hard to keep beating the same team in their own stadium

Philly and San Francisco can run the ball. I think that's the two teams Green Bay doesn't want to face.

The refs won't let Philly or SF win in Lambau running the ball, they'll call holding on them, forcing them to pass.

I suspect both Philly and SF will lose this week, along with the Rams.

TB, Dallas and Arizona advancing.

And now begins another offseason of Aaron Rodgers drama. At least tonight’s loss should end discussion of him being a candidate for mvp.

Thebigo, I was correct when SF had their 1st opportunity to score, the refs called a holding penalty, which killed that SF drive, and Jimmy helped the Pack by throwing a pick.

Now they could have stopped some more SF drives with holding penalties, but maybe they figured the Pack had it in the bag.

Or, refs are ok with games taken over by running in extreme cold, because refs want to get out of there faster. Lol

Some pretty funny Tweets tonight after the game.

One was something about Aaron defeated by snowflakes, cancel culture strikes again.

"Aaron had no shot". Lol

Hopefully Aaron doesn't use it as motivation, hopefully he retires, or is on another team next year.

I vote that he retires. He's got one of those faces that after a while you can't stand to look at, and because of the media adoration, we've had to look at his face a ridiculous amount over the years. It would be good if he'd just go away.

Just retire.. ya media whore..

You know he’s gonna end up as a color commentator next to Joe Suck.. right…

Perhaps worth reposting!
