I'd "drop a huge chunk of coin on the 49rs cover the spread" but can't pull the trigger on them in the Survival pool.

I've talked myself back and forth on most of the games...even had the pick as the 49rs but just can't do it.

I'm taking a chance this week. Prolly be the only one with The _________'s. A few upsets and it could pay off...

That could end up being a good strategy down the road when you need to use a team that you may otherwise have used this weekend.

I went with a team I hate, but these crazy contests make us do that sometimes.

I am picking the "Aint's this week. I figure they can't go 0-16 so they have to win sometime.

That's the hated team I went with too.

To those who picked the Giants at 16. Are you kidding me. In a week where the Giants are decimated by injuries and playing at Carolina. Congrats on getting it right. I lost one point on Carolina.

Hey Ian...how much time did you spend on week 4 on?

Kevin going to squeeze through with the Jets....barely. Joining Delain and I as the last 3.

I guess the 3 of us move on.

Where are they exit posts? If you get eliminated you should come in and say something about it...otherwise what's the point?

Well coincidentally I have been trying to think of something clever and witty to say about all of us being bounced already by the end of week 3, but I got nothing. Best of luck to those who remain and I hope someone makes it all the way to the very end. I don't think we've ever had anyone do that.

I thought there would be an upset or two with who the other two survivors picked. Nope. 3 moving on.

This (week 6) has long been uncharted territory for me.

Do they let you keep picking once you've won your pool?

I always thought so, but I noticed that whoever won last year stopped picking after he was the last man standing - so maybe they don't. That would be a shame. It would be fun for the winner to see just how far he could go.

I'm sensing that Todd might walk away the champ this weekend!

HEY! That's awesome. I couldn't check who picked who until this morning but I seen this post last night and wondered...

I could go out in the same week and still be the winner, interesting. I had wondered about that. I guess the same would apply between knock outs in early vs late games.

Congratulations Todd - you survived and won!

Now you'll be able to answer the question of whether you are able to keep picking next week even though you are the survivor.

I thought if you lost everyone was still in?

Like I said, I was wondering about that.

There has to be a line, right? What if one game was decided in OT - did someone "Survive" longer and get the win?

According to the rules:

quote:

In the event that the last Active members in a group are all Eliminated together in the same week, all are declared winners.

So I guess they can't take my winner status away but could add it to the other two knocked out this week.

Congrats Todd!

Boy, did Pittsburgh's Defense look suddenly old and slow last night.

Did not see that coming, even with Palomaulo out.

Still going! I think picking Seattle was a great move. Hoping for a big upset tomorrow to knock out a bunch.
