Or, are they not as good as advertised?
Too bad none of the NCHC games are on regular TV so a person could watch them without paying for it. I'd like seeing some of those games.

Son says the quiet rink is killing them
No buzz around the program like usual
It’s big-time there and Covid has changed the mood and the swagger

Are they still mostly Canadians with some northern MN kids mixed in?

They’ve got a good pipeline to the Twin Cities too
Tougher kids, not always the most well-known but they all are experienced and willing to fill roles
One of their best is my cousins grandson. Great kid
They get them all to buy in and play hard

Status: offline 		Damn, Beavers just came up short on the road at Mankato yesterday. Fought to a 5-4 loss. We're now at 1-3 on the season and looking like a longshot to be any kind of factor in the WCHA.

I see we were outshot by Mankato 41-17 on Saturday, but managed a 1-1 tie. I'll take it I guess.

Since the Gophers bought/stole our coach and we hired that shit coach from UMD the run is over. Did we have any press clippings? If we did I wasn't aware of them.

Status: offline 		Watched the Huskies from St Cloud SWEEP the always-tough Bulldogs, in Duluth
I get the Huskies channel at the lake. They are playing well. Not much offensively, but damn stingy on D.
Different style of hockey, was a 0-0 regulation tie on Saturday night, won by St Cloud in OT

Absolutely ridiculous that we aren't ranked yet.

And can I please get a good explanation as to why this series vs Bowling Green was a nonconference series? Both teams are in the WCHA. That's really stupid.

The WCHA has 4 of the top 5 or 6 (however you want to look at it) teams in the country:

1. Minnesota State
2. Bowling Green
2. (tie) Boston U
4. Michigan Tech
5. Bemidji State
5. (tie) Canisius
