Not everyone .... just Cousins. It's all on him. If he would have played better, Rhodes would have played better. You know, kind of like Cuddyer swinging at a first pitch in the 4th inning causing Radke to give up a home run in the 6th inning.

No running game
Very little separation by the “receivers “
Even less defense

And they had a shot to win.

Yeah loved Rhodes

On the play he’s looking for help

After
He’s walking around the sidelines pleading his case

Then he goes to Smith

Own up to the fact that he’s lost a lot of speed quickly and cannot cover

Zimmer is even worse

Completion percentage is almost 90% on Rhodes

And he keeps running him out there

Yeah he forced a fumble

But he’d given up the completion and a first down

Can’t cover

Period

Where does the problem lie with the Vikings? Cousins looks great in the hurry up offense.......as he also did against Denver....then when we need him at his best, he fails to connect.

Rhodes misses a coverage and then gets all pissed off at everyone else for his mistake. And gets after the head coach.

Earlier, we had issues with Diggs.

Is this a personnel problem?

Or is it a coaching problem where the inmates seem to run the asylum, despite the bravado our head coach expresses frequently.

Does New England have issues like his? Even when they play poorly like they did against Houston on Sunday night?

We once had a kick ass offense which was a mirage, perpetrated by our then head coach.

Looks like our kick ass defense is also a mirage, perpetrated by our now head coach.

Yeah the briefly mighty defense is now getting its ass kicked

Griffen reminds me of the Marshall Page era
Aging
Not as effective in pass rush
Getting manhandled vs the run

Is Stephens that important inside?
All around the front 7 got it handed to them

that's the hard part
The mighty Mighty Seahawks struggled with us, even with all of our warts
We STILL should have won that game

The one thing I retained from 4 years of HS QBing was … when its 4th down, you give every damn guy possible …. a chance to catch the ball.
You DO NOT throw a ball that might hit the ground
You force it
You jump ball it
You send it straight in the air if you have to, but you DO NOT rest your hopes on a perfectly thrown out
That's the times when you have to question our OC and our QB
3rd and short should have been a controlled play, a screen or a run, NOT a flyer to Treadmill
4th and short should have been a squared up route, with guys having multiple chances right in front of your face, to get interfered with, or to at least battle for possession
NOT a tight window out-pattern to the sideline. Coaching 101. Quarterbacking 101.
Sigh

And shocked at how Griffin quit.
Last couple of big 3rd down runs, he was obliterated off the line.

If Griffen is back next year
Will need to take a cut as a backup

Personally, I would like to see the Vikings switch to a 3-4 with Hunter and Barr as stand up ends. Griffen is fading and it may be time for him to go.

Did they give Russell the MVP yet? Given ESPN's lust-fest, I figured the NFL just gave in and did so already.

And that "agent" in the state farm commercials needs to go. About as annoying as it gets.

Most over-exposed in commercials?

Baker Mayfield
Aaron Rodgers

Uhhhhh, 60 minutes of "yeah! Lets go! yeah! Lets go!"
FASCINATING stuff.

I hated the bastard but has there ever been a more informative mic-ed up than for Hank Stram in the 1970 Super Bowl?

I turned off the audio in the thir quarter

Something about the duo I don’t care for
Not just in Vikings games

Try to be too entertaining

Boog this Boog that

And ol boog effed up in the Minneapolis miracle

That’s just embarrassing

I am beginning to believe that Xavier Rhodes wallet is weighing him down now that he's been paid.

Time to cut him loose.

He's straight up awful

Rhodes has media sympathy
He’s the scapegoat for fans according to the Strib

I always love those articles where the writers act like the fans aren't understanding what they are seeing. They act like they are seeing some deeper truth that the fans aren't grasping. The fans are blaming Rhodes because he f***ing up 90% of the time. It's that simple.

A win is a win. Not easy to get to 9 in the NFL no matter what. Still seeing some issues though. 1 will be helped out big time by the return (of a HEALTHY) AT.

There was a lot of teeth gnashing over the play of Rhodes. I mostly stayed away from that talk but it was a real thing. To me, it's hard to criticize back 7 play based on the 1 play I see on TV. You never know the coverage ect…. I will say this on the subject though. On Harry's INT I saw about 4 camera angles that showed it was his guy, and no shit, he was trailing by at least 5 yards.

Not a good thing

Some other head scratchers were the play calling on O at times. We can call some amazing plays and then there is a massive

Zimmers call to go for it at the end of the game instead of punting was just a "WTF" moment for me. I just don't get that dude at times.

After all those run run pass run run run punt type of series in the second half, that was mystifying from him.
