Greg Coleman interviewing CP. Coleman says the Vikings had a "great week of practice". What the hell does that even mean? Who gives a shit. What a stupid comment. Like saying a pitcher had a good bullpen session in baseball. Absolutely meaningless and worthless.

That was a Les Steckel thing. Every week they had a great week of practice. Nearly every week they got it handed to them.

The O-Line was atrocious. Just plain worthless.

Miles, remember in the days before the stench of zone blocking permeated our offense? Remember having offensive linemen who loved coming off the ball and smashing his man in the mouth? What the hell happened to those days? Where did this collection of over sized candy asses come from? What level of suck does it take for an O-Line to allow a QB known for being elusive and having a quick release to get sacked 8 times and pulverized, after releasing the bal,l at least twice that amount? Tom Powers referred to Teddy in post game interviews as "Bridgewater's earthly remains". What QB can come in here and operate behind that level of ineptitude?

How about a few plays that roll the QB out after oh,say 3 or 4 sacks?

He was a sitting duck out there with that sieve of a group.

Agreed. The legend of Norv did nothing to help his star pupil. OTOH, he likely would have been rolling head long into missed blocks instead of them coming to him. OTOH at least he would see it coming.

The line has regressed.

I was also surprised they stopped doing the read option for a long time. Some of those runs actually worked.

All in all, a sucky day for the offense, the D got lucky Prater was rusty/sucked.

The D got lucky that Megatron and Bush were out of the lineup.

If our OL were cowboys they'd get off the bull at 6 seconds and then stand there looking at it.

Lazy or undisciplined they aren't finishing blocks.

Khalil needs to spend a couple days with Mike Tice.
His "poor me" 'tude needs some adjustment.

I do think these guys have talent, though I think they're all a little susceptible footwork wise. Still, coaching has to be making a major difference here.

I don't think Khalil could make it through the rope agility drill....running through the rope squares.....without tripping.

He simply doesn't move his feet.

Honest to God, I think I could have beat him on the line as a 150 lb high school player. The only time he kept the defense from reaching the QB was when he got help from the running back.

If Zimmer wants to shake things up, fire his (Khalil's) sorry ass. That might send a message.

Remember the movie Miracle.....

Herb Brooks: A bruise on the leg is a hell of a long way from the heart, candy ass.
Rob McClanahan: What'd you call me?
Herb Brooks: You heard me!
Rob McClanahan: You want me to play huh? Is that what you want?
Herb Brooks: I want you to be a hockey player!
Rob McClanahan: I AM A HOCKEY PLAYER! YOU WANT ME TO PLAY ON ONE LEG? HUH? I'LL PLAY ON ONE LEG!
Herb Brooks: [walking out of the locker room with McClanahan still screaming] That'll get him going.
Craig Patrick: O yeah. I'll clean up

@GoesslingESPN
Ezekiel Ansah is the second defensive end to win Player of the Week honors after lining up against Matt Kalil (Chandler Jones was first).

Any RDE with incentive bonuses in his contract, probably prays for the Vikings to be on the schedule.

Pretty embarrassing when the Lions' DLine is saying they can't remember as dominating a performance as they did on us.
