Be cool if getting Gordon turns out to be awesome in a few years

Buxton fell to them at 2.

now Gordon fell to them at 5.

A day after the Ft. Myers Miracle clinched their playoff berth with a first-half title, there were several transactions in the organization.

Jairo Rodriguez went from New Britain to Ft. Myers. Jason Wheeler and Stephen Wickens were both promoted from the Miracle to the Rock Cats. The Miracle also added Max Kepler and Nate Roberts off of their disabled list. Alex Swim went from Ft. Myers to Cedar Rapids. Dallas Gallant was sent to the Kernels. Michael Quesada was placed on the Kernels DL while Josue Montanez was sent back to Elizabethton.

It really isn't MY path. I was predicting what they would do. For once, i got it right. Doesn't mean I'm happy with it.

Congrats, you're now in sync with Twins thinking. Apply for a front office job.

I'm thinking we will soon start hearing how many of the Twins mis-guided philosophies started out in the mind of trekkie

Trekkie, I guess I misunderstood your original post from the other day. I thought you said YOU would choose to promote Wheeler because you could always promote Berrios later.

NO COINCIDENCE

New Britain has won 10 of 11 since Eddie Rosario has hit the lineup.

Betting we worry so much about WHERE he plays, other than just getting his bat in our lineup .... that we somehow screw it all up.

Dunno what to think any more. He's mostly in CF.
Twins will probably just keep him there for now. Because of short-sighted planning.

"Scouts" think he's a LF,most likely. I'd still like him at 2nd. But that's me.

Suddenly, now ... we're gonna start worrying about keeping Dozier happy?
Seemed like he was a convenient speed bump for so long, and now, we think he's a roadblock for someone.
Quite the org.

the BA guy answering q's even poke fun at Twins. 0ur FO has to join the 21st century soon. Dinosaurs do not roam the earth anymore.

Chuckie: When will Jose Berrios be promoted? He seems to be dominating the FSL.

Vincent Lara-Cinisomo: Hi Chuckie. We're wondering that, too. My colleague Josh Norris put it perfectly when he called it one of the great mysteries of the minor leagues. Berrios is dominating and there doesn't appear to be anything left for him to conquer at Fort Myers.

I'm happy with Santana/Escobar. Just not sure either is a long term answer for SS.

Of course, long term right now means Gordon, in Eliz. So do you go with them? Or do you put Dozier back at SS?

Probably too hard to comprehend this kind of forward thinking in this system.

I wouldn't last a day,

Trekkie crosses paths with Ron Gardenhire. Gardy welcomes him to the team
Trekkie calls Gardy an illogical moron and is fired almost immediately.
