Jonathan Mayo, a prospect writer for MLB.com, speculated that Berrios may even start the game for the World Team, since it is at Target Field.

Why are they on the international team when they are U.S. citizens?

Rosario is a stud. Nothing left to prove at NB IMO. Get him up to Rochester sooner rather than later.

With 10 consecutive wins, NB has moved 6 over .500,into 3rd place

And are still 9 games out of first.

Boston's AA team, Portland, is 49-25

They are certainly giddy about their future in Boston.
Sounds warranted.

Have seen them a couple times this year live in Portland. Hell of a club.

I thought he'd be part of the Futures Game.

Too much international representation for the Twins?

Too small of a sample this year

As Ed mentions, tough to justify a spot on the team of a major baseball showcase when 1) you've played only a few weeks, and 2) you're coming back from a drug suspension.

Had some time to think about it.

Putting the Louisville closer on a team going nowhere is dumb.

Put him on a winning team that could use a good arm in the bullpen(FTM). Would have made more sense.

19-year old Nelson Molina, 11th round pick who hit .110 in the GCL, now at first...was playing SS, and has a pair of triples in his first 2 at bats, with 3rbi's today for the G-Twins.

OMG. The apocalypse is coming.

Dozier's gotten banged up a little bit at 2b, so now the organization is shifting him back.

Trevor May added to U.S. Futures roster. He's 25 in September, which puts RHP near legal limit for when a Future must become a Present.

Translation: The Twins didn't want all their fans cheering for the World Team. Might disturb a significant faction of the fan base and ownership.

Doesn't MLB decide the rosters, though? Although I like the theory.

Sending him to AA is actually a vote of confidence.
