The entire org health staff was allegedly evaluated and moves were made.

Still makes zero diff.

May now is out for the futures, game, Meyer will take his spot.

Busted, Matt. I know both he and SMF have multiple accounts; I'm pretty sure so they can vote multiple times in polls.

Really? I heard May was still gonna pitch in the futures game.

Why wasn't Meyer in it to begin with? There was so me reason, but I don't recall the explanation.

I should know better than to put a lot of stock in an initial health report. Trevor May now out for Futures Game. Meyer replacing. #mntwins

Doogie needs to stop relying on his sources within the Twins organization or he'll quickly lose all credibility.

Probably because May is having a better year.

I want to start hearing more about Buxton's bat. I get the fact that he has speed and plays wonderful defense. He needs to be an impact bat for me to get excited.

He's only played in 6 games this year.

Last year at age 19 with a 55/45 A/A+ split he finished: .334/.424/.520 with a .944 OPS. 19 2B, 18 3B, 12 HR, 77 RBI, 55 SB (19 CS), 76 BB vs 105 Ks.

That's a pretty good bat.

Any 19 year old could do that!

Sano cleared to begin throwing program

Third base prospect Miguel Sano, who is recovering from Tommy John surgery on his right elbow, has been cleared to begin a throwing program.
Sano was examined on Monday in New York by Dr. David Altchek, the specialist who preformed surgery on him during spring training.
"He said his right elbow now looks stronger than his left," said Rob Plummer, Sano's agent.
It's still unclear if Sano will be able to DH in late-season minor league games, but that's what the Twins are hoping for. Even if Sano is unable to play in minor league games, he'll be allowed to participate in offseason leagues like the Arizona Fall League and the Dominican Winter League.
Sano is scheduled to fly back to Fort Myers this evening and will begin his throwing program on Tuesday. He could be cleared to start swinging a bat next month.
Sano and Plummer were accompanied by the same film crew that produced the documentary, "Pelotero," that followed Sano's path to signing with the Twins out of the Dominican Republic. The crew is working on a sequel.

Signs of an awesome depth minor leagues....we're talking upper level

Chris Herrmann batting cleanup in AAA. Stephen Wickens, a super-util type guy, DHs and bats 9th in AA.

No wonder there is so little help for the Twins.

Chih-Wei Hu and Jake Reed are in CRapids.

Burdi has fanned the side twice after his initial shaky outing.

Ethan Mildren and Todd Van Steensel went to FTM.

Berrios and Melotakis to NB.

Hamburger and Oliveros to Rochester.

Lance Ray finally moved up to AA, to sink or swim.

Finally! Player movement!

I have to admit that I am mildly surprised that they actually promoted Berrios. I thought they would play it conservative after they way he hit the wall last year. I'm not used to the Twins being anything faster than flowing molasses in January when it comes to advancing its prospects.

LEN said yesterday he's hearing we won't see Meyer at all this year.

My best guess is a September call-up in 2015 if he remains healthy.

I saw him tweet that as well. That's disappointing. It's not like we have the 90s Braves rotation up here and he's looking for a spot to weasel into.

What are they waiting for?

Fantasizing here...
But my hope is the are waiting until season's end to fire Gardy and Andy and not let them get their career ****ing claws into prospects like Meyer.

I know. A Better fantasy would be they fire Gardy and Andy NOW, and bring up Meyer right away...

But still. One can hope...right?

6-3/5-3/F8, 12 pitch second for Berrios

Granted the NH team they're playing isn't loaded with many decent hitters.
