Wrong person to ask.

I was completely against him even being on the opening day roster. He was terrible in ST. LaVelle said he was working on a new pitch.

I just don't think he has enough gas to offset his offspeed, making him too hittable.

and if you look past the overall numbers, he is NOT the guy you want in with runners on base.

Twins had him start a lot of innings from scratch. His era with runners in scoring position was terrible

Runner at first 1.69
1/2nd over 7
1/3rd over 10
2nd over six
bases loaded 54: apparently happened once got one out then gave up a hit and 2 runs.

I hope booze gets more opps, he can at least strike guys out.

9K start in 5IP

today, perfect through 4 with 5 strikeouts

Warne, who has "sources" in the org said...

I was told to keep an eye on him moving forward. The Birmingham lineup isn't very good, but the adjustments may be real.

Agreed.

Mauer and Morneau Pt 2

Kirilloff apparently did a ton of lifting last year while rehabbing. Supposedly got a lot stronger.

Good results so far.
