Let's just call him up, put him in the lineup everyday and let him work his way through it.

So sick of that mentality. It basically says there are no standards and no rules for certain chosen players. It is the kind of thing that has destroyed this ballclub, in my opinion.

Leave him in the minors for the rest of the season. Sell off all veterans for whatever you can get. Hold onto Escobar only and get all sorts of prospects for the others. Maybe we can get lucky and find some players who know how to hit major league pitching? Maybe we can find a bunch of guys who can create competition in the high minors because we have a shit

THey may have to

Leg kick for a little bit, then just a slight step about 10 days later. What are they doing? Trying anything until it sticks?
If you're going to do that, send him back to FTM too.

WHEN they think he's ready, then he should be in the top 2 spots in the order, if Buxton is allegedly the impact player they think he can be.

Why don't they look at his high school film and let him go back to what works for him?

Just sit him down and tell him not to worry. He can spend the rest of the year in the minors and even next year if he feels more comfortable with that.

Checking Lewis stats recently and it's pretty much more of the same except he hadn't stole a base in at least nine games until the most recent one.

Power is coming. Could he be a Tony Oliva type hitter. Batting title type with 20-30 homer power?

Compared favorably to Jeter.
And he's a good dude. He and his mom are selling some bracelets as a charity fundraiser for some cause.

Jeter is the most overrated defensive SS in the history of baseball with the possible exception of Cal Ripken Jr.

he was a Yankee and I hate the Yankees, but every time I watched Jeter in the field he sure seemed to get the job done. Regardless Lewis with his error rate so far would be very hard to find any SS that he compares favorably to.
