Didn't get lucky on the random drawing for tomorrow's game but tonight should still be a unique experience. For many of the players that never make it to the majors this might be the highlight of their professional careers.

Draft a promising young man. Slow drag is ass through the low minors for years despite his dominance thereof. Wait till he blows his elbow. spend a year recovering from TJ, and then finally promote them to underperform their pre surgery promise.

I saw why they aren't having a game next year.

They are adding hotels and multiple fields for 2024-5 to have tourneys there.

IMO, it will ruin it. As constructed now, with earth moved to elevate some of the corn, the sight lines are incredible. From field level all you see is corn from almost any angle.

Eventually this will look like the Alamo.

I don't see the "youth sports complex" doing all that well. Other metro areas have all kinds of places to eat and entertainment options when you are not playing. People are going to get bored as hell, you can only stand there and look at the movie site for so long.

Like most things, corporate greed will ruin it.

Even a permanent stadium for the MLB/Minor league games will take away from the atmosphere that it has currently.
