I got that wrong totally wrong. Elizabethton and Rochester were off, not the GCL Twins.

I haven't seen Gordon listed in about a week? Is he injured or just slumping?

You mean Nick Gordone?

Can't remember who coined that one again ... you, Sweens, or Tgray?

Doesn't look like it's gonna stick, but I'm gonna try.

No I coined funny ones. You guys can have Nick Gordone and The Biebers.

And for the record, guess which lineman Michael ran behind was mine too. Although it was better on the Strib forum because the eyes bugged in and out.

Buxton again in the lineup tonight.

Michael hitting .311

Opponents have Lee Mazilli's kid, LJ, whom the Twins drafted but he turned down their offers. He's hitting .282 in the FSL with 10 dingers in all "A" ball this year, 3 in FLA.

Soths or somebody said Berrios is scheduled to start a game soon, (this weekend maybe) so the injury scare was just that.

Yep, Seth says that a source told him to expect Berrios Sunday.

FTM off to a fast 3-0 start, H/R/SB for Buxton, H/BB/R/RBI/2SB for Michael

3 great news posts in a row. Much better than posters fantasizing about Joe Mauer's wasteline.

Would like to see Michael moved up but I guess he has to stay healthy. Next year in NB will be big for him to see if he's a longterm guy or not. He's still young enough (23).

No. It's really not. It was funny for a while. Now it's just ruining what once was a good board.

May supposedly coming up Saturday! Yes! I'm disappointed it's not the superior pitcher in Meyer, but what can you do. Still excited I'll get to catch his debut. And our best pitcher Gibson tomorrow night. Couldn't have hoped for much better.

I gotta admit; I'm a little less enamored about Milone after finding out Suzuki advocated for him so much and supposedly it was a Gardy/Rick acquiesce.

So what exactly is the Twins rotation right now? Is there a rotation or is it musical chairs?

Well, I do think we are close to getting about as good as we're going to get this year. Milone will be called up within a week I think. So IF they call May up for Saturday, and Nolasco continues the rehab, we'd have Gibson/Hughes/May/Milone/Nolasco. That's not terrible, even though it's missing our best starter in Meyer. But I tend to agree that Meyer may not be called up this year with his pitch counts.

Jon Murphy is 7th guy Twins have released from Kernels this season. In my 16 years on beat, can't remember that many in 1 season. #Kernels

There are a lot of guys going by the way-side, but better to cut them now and give PT to some that may actually stick.

Expect this guy on the 40-man as well this off-season, as another "option" for the rotation.

OAKLAND -- The Twins have yet to make an announcement about Saturday's starter against the A's, but they're expected to call up a starting pitcher from Triple-A Rochester after Friday's game.

The Twins have an opening in their rotation after left-hander Logan Darnell was optioned to Triple-A Rochester to make room for outfielder Jordan Schafer on Sunday. But Twins manager Ron Gardenhire wouldn't offer any hints on who will replace Darnell.

"He's somewhere," Twins manager Ron Gardenhire said. "We'll let you know."

The Twins have several options at Rochester, including top prospects Alex Meyer and Trevor May. Meyer is scheduled to start for the Red Wings on Saturday, while May is slated to start Sunday.

May is considered much more likely than Meyer because Meyer has been on a pitch-count limit this season as a precaution stemming from shoulder issues last season. May, who is on the 40-man roster unlike Meyer, would also be pitching on normal rest, as his last start with Rochester came Monday.

The Twins could also opt to bring up left-hander Kris Johnson, who last started Friday and is scheduled to start Monday for Rochester. Johnson has already made three spot starts with Minnesota this year, going 0-1 with a 4.73 ERA.

Fellow lefty Tommy Milone, who was acquired from the A's in the trade that sent Sam Fuld to Oakland on July 31, last started with Rochester on Tuesday, so he's not expected to be called up to pitch on short rest.

Fascinating approach
Call Santana your SS of the future, and keep playing him in center
Fascinating
The Twins are so far ahead of me thinking-wise, I'm simply not worthy.
