I'd put Nathan at 5, right behind the big 4 starters, who I generally agree with their spots on top.

Nathan was the best closer the Twins ever had. 4 all star appearances, several sub 2.00 ERA seasons, tons of saves.

Eric Milton doesn't belong on the list at all. Boswell's Twins career completely blows Milton's out of the water. It's really not even close between them. Bos had a terrific six years before his shoulder exploded in the 1969 playoffs. Broke into the majors at 19. By age 24, he was the #2 starter behind Jim Perry. Pitched 11 innings in a playoff game against the Orioles. His injury came in the 10th inning on a pitch that struck out Frank Robinson. He went back out and gave up a run in the 11th inning to take a 1-0 loss. The injury turned his arm black from shoulder to elbow. After the injury his career lasted another 97.2 innings over 2 seasons and he was done at age 26. Really a shame. He should probably be top 10 on that list.

Not a good start to the season. Lopez was his own worst enemy. In each of the first two innings he had the lead runner trapped off first base and blew it both times. In the first inning he balked throwing to second. That runner scored. In the second inning he had the runner dead to rights again and threw it about 3 feet behind Correa and into center field.

Our top 3 batters were 0 for 12 with 4 K's.

Bader had a nice start against his old team, going 2 for 4 with a double, HR and 2 RBI.

Agreed. Milton didn't do much. One (very marginal) all star season and a no hitter. Otherwise mediocre.

I'd put Jack Morris on there somewhere. He only pitched one year with the Twins, but if you're talking about impact it would be hard to argue. When you pitch a 10 inning WS Game 7 shutout, you belong on the list.

Bader is the new guy. He's not on script yet.

Every one else with runners in scoring position 0-7 or so.

Just keep swinging for the fences boys....

in the 9th Attebury starts going on about how he hopes Wallner gets up against he Cards flamethrowing closer "power vs power" he was frothing at the mouth for the confrontation. All I could think was a guy that strikes out a lot against a guy that strikes out a lot of guys. I wonder what will happen? four pitches later...game over.

Same old same old with this team. RISP they keep corkscrewing themselves into the ground trying to hit the ball 500 ft. shorten up, get a single/double, drive the run in. I don't care what the analytics say...

Two games in and our top 3 is 0 for 24 with 7 strike outs.

Ryan had a decent first start (5 IP, 1R, 0BB, 5K).

Our best in baseball bullpen stunk.

Willi Castro is the first Twin with a double and an RBI in each of the first two games of the season since Matt Lawton in 1999.
