The Gophers dominated the stats. But settled for FGs 3 times, failed on 4th and inches in the red zone, and Buffalo’s only two big plays were an interception that was a total fluke and long TD on a DB lapse. They won but didn’t quite cover the spread so put in category 2 of my post above. Lindsey did pretty well overall. He’s got talent. I feel like there’s plenty there for the coaches to work with. PJ really let him have it on the sidelines after the near int in the end zone. Understandable that it’s a pet peave of his. End zone turnovers are among the most impactful yet preventable plays in football. You just can’t have it. But I like what they did after that. They came out in the 3rd quarter and Lindsey threw 2 darts for long completions. Teach him, then move on and show him you still have confidence in him.
