I am starting to get concerned that the cheese is going to get too good of a draft pick...

This has been my concern as well. Great draft for QB's.

We will finish too high to draft one, while the Packers have another one fall in their laps.

Bill Johanesen -> RE: Other NFL News (11/8/2022 11:58:41 AM)

There are a lot of teams with crappy records, so it's not assured they will be positioned high in the draft. Plus it looks like they are stuck with Rodgers cap-wise for 2023 and 2024.

Ricky J -> RE: Other NFL News (11/8/2022 12:51:46 PM)

Numbers go up with age as ability regresses.

That's too bad.

Rogers sat for 3 years.

I get the feeling your reply was meant for me, O.

Jim Sorgi: OC
Curtis Painter: QB coach
Marvin Harrison: WR coach
Dallas Clark: TE coach
Tony Ugoh: OL Coach

Dwight Freeney: DC
Robert Mathis: DL coach
Gary Brackett: LB coach
Bob Sanders: DB coach

This seems like a terrible group of coaches. Who knows maybe it'll turn out to be brilliant.

Not one has ever called plays before. They better get Peyton in there.

No not really, just saying that the Packers have historically allowed high draft pick QBs to sit for some period of years. I guess that might be less likely if the QB is a top 5 pick, vs Rogers something like #21.

It was suggested that the Colts are going for round 2 of "suck for Luck". Hoping to get as high a draft pick as possible to draft the best QB they can in a QB rich draft.

It was why they benched Ryan for a third string QB...and why they fired a coach with a winning record overall. Even stating they think he's a good coach.

Owner sees the writing on the wall that the Colts are going nowhere this year and is trying to suck donkey nuts to improve draft position for next year.

No dessert.

Green Bay could have easily lost to Dallas, but the refs did about everything they could to help with non calls, and let GB come back from down 14 to defeat Dallas in OT.

McCarthy was livid several times. They let the Puke get away with obvious PI several times, the announcers just sort of chuckled. Rodgers took advantage, and made the throws.

At this point, I actually prefer the Packers winning, their irrelevance increases the irrevelence of the the Conboys.

I never prefer the PUKERS winning unless it somehow directly benefits the Vikings. Are the Vikings competing with the Cowpukes for Home Field in the playoffs or a bye? Have to get by the Iggles who have a game and a tiebreaker on us.

Your always competing for a better seed if you're in the playoffs

Yeah, but we beat the Cowpukes and they are in our rearview mirror.

marty -> RE: Other NFL News (11/14/2022 4:16:22 PM)

Seeing Watson get 3 TDs against the Cowboys, and essentially saving the Packs season, I wonder if the Vikings may have been better off drafting Watson, instead of trading back and getting the tentative Booth, and the questionable Ingram.

marty -> RE: Other NFL News (11/14/2022 4:45:46 PM)

It would have been nice to have a big, fast WR to pair with JJ for the next 5 years.

kgdabom -> RE: Other NFL News (11/14/2022 9:09:19 PM)

Washington first and goal against the Eagles. They get this TD they go up 12-14 depending on the point after. WOW.

kgdabom -> RE: Other NFL News (11/14/2022 9:10:55 PM)

Washington fails to convert on the TD. FG up 23-14.

Watson has SUCKED all year. One good game. Maybe he will be good eventually.

marty -> RE: Other NFL News (11/14/2022 10:02:02 PM)

Watson is young, missed several games due to injury. He is getting a chance to play now with injuries to Cobb and Daubs, and he just got 3TDs in the last game.

But you're right, it's too early to tell on Watson, and Daubs has looked like the better WR. Daubs looked like a stud, until he got hurt.

marty -> RE: Other NFL News (11/14/2022 10:09:46 PM)

Commandoes Win !!!

Todd M -> RE: Other NFL News (11/14/2022 10:10:32 PM)

Well we'll well look who's tied for the best record in the NFL...

Eagles shit the bed at home [sm=LAUGHY37.gif]

marty -> RE: Other NFL News (11/14/2022 10:27:37 PM)

Nice.

Even though it would probably help the Vikings get the #1 seed, I don't think I will be able to cheer for the Puke to beat the Eagles in a few weeks.

I always want the Pack to lose. Some other team(s) need to beat the Eagles.

Marty you have turned things around pretty well. I don't think the Pukers beating the Iggles is something we need to be concerned about. It's not going to happen.

marty -> RE: Other NFL News (11/15/2022 1:12:51 AM)

KG, I haven't turned things around, I have always hated the Puke.

Some posters that didn't like things I had to say, tried to make it sound like I was a Packers fan, because I had knowledge of them and respected them.

I still don't count the Pukers out, until they are completely eliminated, hopefully that is soon.
