The #Lions are placing QB Matthew Stafford on the Reserve/COVID-19 list, per source.

Well that might improve our chances of winning significantly.

The Covid rears it's ugly head once again.

A nice review of some of Ezra's work:

After the first game I said the kid wasn't ready... I think perhaps I was very wrong...

It was supposed to go away today.

Very true, I had the exact same feeling about Brian O’Neill “Not being ready”

Kenny Clark is no joke in there for the Packers. Ezra and Bradbury seemed to have little trouble with him, or any other interior lineman.

Best OLine performance in years that I can recall.

Looking down the road I’m pretty sure we’re gonna have to move on from Riley Reiff although he’s clearly been very solid, but Bradbury, O’Neill, and now perhaps Cleveland are certainly making a case for our first above average OLine since The late 90’s. I shudder to even say that, but there are indications of it.

So I wonder if our plan now is to swing O'Neill over the left tackle Udo to right tackle and leave Cleveland at Right guard?

This is an extremely good development as a whole oline wise.

Bradbury has made some progress but I think he will only be a middle of the pack C.

We're still in desperate need for a starting G next year and better depth at that position.

Ezra's play gives us some options next year. Move him to LT or keep him at RG and move O'Neal to LT and putting Udoh at RT. I'm liking the latter because then we only have the LG position to fill.

Can we talk about Jalyn Holmes real quick?? Out of all the breakout candidates this offseason, he has taken the most steps forward. He is second on the team in pressures despite being 5th in snaps and has shown remarkable growth. Can't wait to dive into the tape tmr

I was re-watching most of the game. Irv and O'Neill had very good games. Irv Smith will be a star in the next two seasons!
He has really taken to blocking. Some influence from Rudy? Maybe!!

I've been noticing him a lot more the last couple games. In hindsight moving him inside looks like an awfully miscalculated move.

Hercules is back.

Ben Goessling@GoesslingStrib

The Vikings placed Mark Fields on injured reserve after he sustained a "pinhole puncture" to one of his lungs on Sunday. They added former Raiders practice squad corner Dylan Maybin and signed Hercules Mata'afa back to the active roster.

Did they forget to remove all the pins from his jersey?

Are you going to buy the Herc jersey, David?

He strikes me as best fit as a DE in a 3/4. Odenigbo also seems to be like that, but if Hunter returns to form next year I guess the team will have to keep the status quo. Overall we seem to have better depth on the defensive line than at linebacker, except our two best players are lost for the season. (Pierce and Hunter)

If the Vikings bump off the Lions, Bears, and Cowboys..

-- and --

The Rams lose their next two games to the Seahawks and Buccaneers..

..the Vikings could be the 7th [playoff] seed in the NFC before Thanksgiving.

Rumor is there might be 8 playoff teams from both Conferences.

Apparently if Stafford has negative covid tests today and Sunday morning he will be cleared to play.

i heard this as well. I think it's a fall back plan if they decide to shorten the season for Covid reasons.
