I seem to remember Daunte Cuipepper usually among the league leaders in both fumbles AND fumble recoveries.

Do you get bonus points for covering your own eff ups? I don't remember the rules.[:D]

I'm a new aficionado to this sport. You'd have to ask KG.

Well in fairness Henry fumbled 10 times - in his career. AD could do that in a season.

Is that 10 fumbles or lost fumbles?
How many seasons did Peterson fumble 10 times? What was his most lost fumbles in a season.

Too bad posters like BarbFreeze, MikeSlipy, etc have been replaced by the likes of you.

The fixation between lost or recovered fumbles vs. is only a horribly annoying fixation. There are worse.

Is there a chance that anyone could explain to that guy that even fumbles that aren't lost
are still bad, especially from a QB? A QB fumble that's recovered by the offense still amounts
to a lost down and almost always a loss of yardage. On 3rd down it results in a punt and change
of possession. Please, inform him that fumbles, especially from a QB are almost never a good
thing.

I fully understand that fumbles by our players are usually bad for us. I have zero problem with understanding that. I stated that in a prior post. However, a lost fumble is far worse. In those cases you don't get the net 40 yards of field position that a punt usually gives.

Then stop posting things that insinuate that fumbles aren't that bad unless the other
team recovers. Pretty simple concept.

Julio Jones, Derrick Henry and AJ Brown. That is three monster athletes on one team.

Derek Henry, I seem to remember Adrian Peterson taking shit from a certain poster for being pretty much a one trick pony.

Henry is a true 1970’s throwback RB.

Never had over 19 receptions in any season while AD had two over 40.

Henry certainly is a stud, but I get it, doesn’t play into your narrative.

In all honesty I’d rather have Dalvin Cook then either. He is truly the modern back that helps you on all downs.

than. As in than either!

Didn't say a word about it the first 99 times you did it.

Ja'Wuan James’ agents, Bill Johnson and Matt Pope, negotiated the two-year deal with the Ravens that includes $500,000 in guaranteed money this year, per source. So the Ravens are paying him $500k to rehab this year and to have him under contract north of $8 million next year.

Former Broncos’ OT Ja'Wuan James, who ruptured his Achilles in April, is signing a two-year deal worth up to $9 million with the Ravens, sources tell ESPN. James still has to pass his physical with the Ravens, but it will not include his current injury and no issues expected.

This type of injury where players get injured off site but following team workouts (apparently other teammates were there) is going to get interesting for the next CBA.

This is reprehensible on the part of the league. The NFL seems to be the only league with one-way contracts that the teams can void but the players can't, and this kind of BS only makes it worse. If you want to be able to dictate like this, you have to guarantee the contracts. Oh, and don't get mad when players want to renegotiate, since the teams can.

They're not THAT bad unless the other team recovers. Sure they could lead to a punt. Not what you want, but not the end of the world.

A win is a win. I don't care if they are playing a WR as QB. Never understood the "rather beat them at full strength b.s."

Plus I hate the packers - it makes it that much sweeter.

Now if Fields bombs, life will be pretty sweet.

To me it's about the competition level. Sure the Vikings could play a schedule of convents and elementary schools and win every game, but that would not be exciting. However, I too hate the Pukers and any bad news for them is good news for me. Fields busting would also be A-OK.

ronhextall -> RE: General Vikes Talk (6/8/2021 11:25:49 AM)

Packers have little to gain by trading Rodgers now.

Let him rot for a year and then trade him, still get multiple 1st rounds picks.

Not convinced Rodgers will hold out. Reports are he will have to write a check to Green Bay for $22 million.

Let's remember Rodgers got $22 million minus taxes and possible agent fee's so Rodgers got maybe $16 million and he will have pay back $22 million,...OUCH!!!!
