Julio Jones, Derrick Henry and AJ Brown. That is three monster athletes on one team.

Derek Henry, I seem to remember Adrian Peterson taking shit from a certain poster for being pretty much a one trick pony.

Henry is a true 1970’s throwback RB.

Never had over 19 receptions in any season while AD had two over 40.

Henry certainly is a stud, but I get it, doesn’t play into your narrative.

In all honesty I’d rather have Dalvin Cook then either. He is truly the modern back that helps you on all downs.

than. As in than either!

Didn't say a word about it the first 99 times you did it.

Do you talk like that? [&:]

Geez Bill you’ve become the word police now?

My apologies for interrupting your evening with this oversight, or worse yet ineptness with the English language.

Be pretty difficult to find 99 of my posts in the last few years in here/ hear/ he’re/ heer?

Don’t post much in what use to/ used to/ yuse too/ was one of my favorite escapes to go to.

Douche baggery like is exhibited in your posts drive many to more meaningful sites then/ than putting up with thoroughly revolting A-holes like you.

If you’d like to see how I talk, I’ll be traveling to numerous games on the west coast this year with a great group of dudes who seem to understand me fine.

Carry on.

Carry on.

As I understand it, Pierce is a wall but not a great pass rushing option. I thought I had read that Tomlinson had a solid pressure rate last year from the NT position. It might be better from 3T in 2021. I don't think he's 1 dimensional and will be an upgrade imo.

https://lwosports.com/2021/03/29/dalvin-tomlinson-brings-help-run-defense/

The article concludes, IMO rightly so, with: If Tomlinson can be a force in the passing game, his reps will likely increase on third downs and or passing situations. In New York, he was mainly sidelined when teams would spread the field with the threat of passing. Minnesota has gained a marque run-suffer, but the questions will loom on how effective Tomlinson will be in the passing game.

I liked the signing in terms of getting a player coming off his first contract with possibilities to improve next to Pierce. But my opinion was also jaded by opponents absolutely shredding us rushing up the middle. So it's like, ok we addressed that with these two bigs starting, now what else do you have Tomlinson.

As for Pierce, can he be a poor mans Jerry Ball/Pat Williams?

Don't know how it translates but he was the Ravens top Dlinemane in 2018; not sure how it will translate after taking a year off.

Top dlineman? at sock puppetry? says who? the baltimore newtimes food critic?

looking at their 2019 depth chart, not much competition for ‘best of’ trophies. Their LBs get all the production.

Pierce chokes off the middle, occupies, absorbs. He’s like a lead turtle ... hydrant kind of a thing.

Tomlinson is more of a masher, a dislocator, a disruptor.

We won’t get pushed around, thats for sure. And we’ll do some pushing. Not sure after that.

Kendricks will get his, that’s also for sure.

Interesting to me that Hunter Pierce Tomlinson would be a killer 3-4 dline and Barr a proto 3-4 lb.

Its a shame Zimmer only uses Barr to check the enemy. He’s an occupier, an outflanker. We should be sending him in to decapitate people. Maybe he’s too pleasant for that

I'm not sure why but responding to your posts always feels like driving into a major highway spaghetti exchange.

Your PFF links show that you can't measure Pierce's performance based on standard all-american pro-bowl stats. So they're useless.

What we do know is, Pierce is supposed to just stand there and take it like a man. And by reputation, he does that well.

Does PFF have a Best 'Big Fat Tick' measurement, organized by how well squatty human trenchers get under the pads of OL and drain their will to execute blocking schemes? Probably not.

Someone posted that they weren't sure what they would get from Pierce....I mentioned what he did in 18 & 19...not every post is about you Tom. [:D] I do see the whole post and replies are about Pierce....not sure how it is spaghetti at that point.

A 2nd for JJ...kind of scary of the rumored preparation he has to do for every game.....the sheer definition of game to game/day to day/week to week.

All this time I thought your responses were just indirect, sideways or illogical but you were simply addressing other posts during our back and forthing. Got it.

Well in fairness Henry fumbled 10 times - in his career. AD could do that in a season.

Is that 10 fumbles or lost fumbles?
How many seasons did Peterson fumble 10 times? What was his most lost fumbles in a season.

Too bad posters like BarbFreeze, MikeSlipy, etc have been replaced by the likes of you.

The fixation between lost or recovered fumbles vs. is only a horribly annoying fixation. There are worse.

Is there a chance that anyone could explain to that guy that even fumbles that aren't lost
are still bad, especially from a QB? A QB fumble that's recovered by the offense still amounts
to a lost down and almost always a loss of yardage. On 3rd down it results in a punt and change
of possession. Please, inform him that fumbles, especially from a QB are almost never a good
thing.

I like the 'please inform him' M.O.

The last good fumble was from Ken Stabler against I think the Chargers in the playoffs circa 1978. The Raiders were batting the ball forward and I think scored. So the NFL changed the rules to close that loophole.

Ja'Wuan James’ agents, Bill Johnson and Matt Pope, negotiated the two-year deal with the Ravens that includes $500,000 in guaranteed money this year, per source. So the Ravens are paying him $500k to rehab this year and to have him under contract north of $8 million next year.

Former Broncos’ OT Ja'Wuan James, who ruptured his Achilles in April, is signing a two-year deal worth up to $9 million with the Ravens, sources tell ESPN. James still has to pass his physical with the Ravens, but it will not include his current injury and no issues expected.

This type of injury where players get injured off site but following team workouts (apparently other teammates were there) is going to get interesting for the next CBA.
