ORIGINAL: Todd M Some Doogie Wolfson says we've offered Cousins a contract extension. I heard that. He mentioned that the Vikings offered Cousins an extension on their terms, i.e a reasonable contract in line with Cousins abilities, which was rejected as Kirk wants to continue to be grossly overpaid for his production. Sounds like Kirk either plays out the final year of his deal or gets traded, but an extension isn't happening. Thankfully. Makes sense. Do you think it's a given that we'll at least chop it in half by adding a void year? I was listening to another sports show a while back and they brought up Cousins contract. Apparently, the Vikings can't alter the deal in any way unless Cousins signs off on it. History says that his camp is going to offer zero relief to the team. Of all of Cousins faults, this is probably the one that is most aggravating. He's the ultimate me guy, who doesn't care about his team or his place in football history. He just wants to make as much money as possible above all else. He's the antithesis of what team sports are all about, and what's great about being part of a team in general.
