ORIGINAL: Brad H This is the quarterback ratings in the final two minutes of halves last season. This was an improvement for Cousins, who was about 30th a year earlier. Outside of Mahomes, you see anybody below Cousins you would like as your starter? Lamar Jackson maybe? I left out a couple of teams where guys didn't start a lot of games. Rodgers 123.7 Burrow 118.8 Garoppolo 116.4 Stafford 112.6 Wilson 111.2 Prescott 102.5 Mills 99.2 Herbert 94.1 Bridgewater 91.1 Ryan 90.9 Murray 87.7 Heinicke 85.9 Tannehill 85.6 Allen 84.5 Brady 84.4 Wilson 83.7 Lawrence 81.4 Tagovailoa 80.8 Cousins 78.4 Hurts 77.9 Wentz 77.0 Roethlieberger 76.9 Carr 76.4 Goff 76.0 Mac Jones 67.6 Mahomes 66.3 Jackson 62.0 Mayfield 58.5 Daniel Jones 56.3 Its a feeble example. There are better QBs below and worse QBs above. Obviously. Cousins is NOT a clutch QB but once again you have hemmed yourself into a narrowly staked position that you try and sell as yours. Mahomes only 66.3. What a worthless piece of crap. The Chiefs should dump his ass while other teams still think he is great. Dude had a down year. Cousins has rarely been good at a two-minute offense. If Mahomes has another season or three like he just had, then we can be concerned. Other than that I'll consider it an anomaly. With Cousins, it's just who he is. Much like Mahomes being an anomaly last year, Cousins had an anomaly year in 2018 when he was good in the final two minutes. This is his last five years. 1-in-5 ain't great, people! Not for a guy making that kind of money. In the past five years, he's been in the bottom third of the league in two-minute QB Rating 80% of the time. 2020, 63.7 QB Rating 2019, 73.7 QB Rating 2018, 109.8 2017, 76.3 2016, 64.2
