I just remember same type situation Covid year 2020, no real preseason, the Vikes looked very unprepared including giving up not 1, but 2 TDs in the last 39 seconds of the first half.

I also remember 2021 the Packers being absolutely obliterated by the Saints on opening day. And that was with GOOD receivers.

Yes Ricky, I can imagine that, a FG to win the Super Bowl, and have a feeling it will be a reality some time in the next few years.

The Anderson miss in '98 was pretty intense, but I thought he would get another chance in OT. I thought Longwell was going to have a shot in 2009, but then there was an INT.

I think Joseph will have a shot, but it will be in a Super Bowl, and I have a feeling he will make it. The Vikings have the right head coach, O'Connell will exude confidence, the kicker will make it.

I want to ask you both a question, with no malice, just want your honest opinion:

Do you think the Eagles would have won the SB with Wentz, had Wentz stayed healthy the year they won it with Foles ?

i think we realized that we needed another CB for the denver preseason game - that's why we signed tye smith....

i think we realized that we needed another CB for the denver preseason game - that's why we signed tye smith....

They literally could have released a toad, and kept hand until the final cut day, hell they could have released 2 toads and kept hand and signed Ty smith..

It was a fail, imo..

Hand did fine when he came in off the bench..

Starting caliber, maybe not.

But compared to some of the bodies that didn’t get released.. silver plated cast iron solid backup.

I thought they were letting Hand go to give him a chance to catch on somewhere else. And then I read that we'd of picked him back up if he was available.

They viewed Hand as a practice squad guy, so they gave him a chance to get on a roster. He still could get cut again, and better options could emerge. He can't play slot, and that may be where they need more depth. There may be sources of concern, but how they're handling the seventh or worse CB is reaching a bit, IMO.

no doubt, hand was developing - he looked pretty good last season in real games...plus, he had two years left of his rookie deal....
