even if we're planning on keeping cj ham, kwesi has to be talking to his agent about redoing his contract for 2022...we could cut him, and then give him a new $1mm deal and save $1mm in cap hit....

From today's paper, ex-#Vikings OL Mike Harris is back on their sideline, having been named NFL uniform inspector for home team games at U.S. Bank Stadium. He was the road team inspector last 3 years, role now taken by ex-Gophers, Vikings DT Ben Williams.

#Vikings Sean Mannion’s contract guarantee of $277,200 is same sum he'd earn if spent entire 2022 season on practice squad. I asked him if he'd accept spot on PS “I don’t want to speculate on anything. Obviously there are a lot of moving parts this time of the year in the league"

#Vikings backup QB Nick Mullens said he is studying his playbook just about every minute he can. Vikings are heading into Tuesday deciding if they will keep either Sean Mannion or Kellen Mond on the 53 man or cut both & keep at least one on practice squad:

They are letting guys go so they can land with another team....little different when Chilly was running things and cut guys last second so they couldn't get on another squad.

As we get to final cutdowns here are the teams with the most original signings still competing for a spot in the NFL

1. Ravens- 112
2. Cowboys - 107
3. Vikings- 104
4. Rams- 102
5. Patriots/Packers/Eagles- 93

Ravens almost always rank at the top every year. Great FO.

The #Vikings released defensive lineman T.Y. McGill, according to a source. McGill sprained his right ankle on Saturday night, but is expected to be ready within 1-2 weeks, sources said this weekend.


The season in 2 weeks. He's a backup rotational guy. It's not even a setback really.

Mattison would need to get a top ten contract at RB and play a bell cow share of snaps to get even compensatory 5th I’d think.

I like Mattison but I’d move him for a 4th readily imho.
