ORIGINAL: Bill Johanesen Burkhardt joins a group that includes Dick Enberg, Curt Gowdy, and Jim Nantz. Technically yes, but he'll never BE in that group. Dick Vitale, Bill Rafferty, Verne Lundquist? All blowhards. Oh, when compared to Enberg, Packer, and McGuire. Although I loved Vitale's call on Jerry Stackhouse's reverse slam against half of the Duke team. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eEyjOM2Zup4 (:25 sec mark) Lundquist was underrated. IOW, he wasn't that good. He was ok, grade B- type. Back in the day. Summerall/Madden on CBS Enberg, Olsen, Gowdy on NBC Best A teams in history of NFL Yeah. But Olsen? Yes he's pretty good though. I liked Phil Simms for a while. Aikman. Yes. Simms was good. Charles Davis is a guy who should be on a A team. Played the game, scout, smart, easy to listen to, and doesn't take himself too seriously Davis talks too much for my taste. He is better than he was 2 years ago; improving.
