Cousins is a great litmus test ... to determine if this regime is going to be a better than the last one ... or are they just going to recycle what was handed to them ... keeping in mind that they are reusing the butt end of the Spielman Zimmer regime, not the 2017 version. At this point, Cousins is nothing more than a relic from the Spielman Zimmer era. They failed Cousins and Cousins failed them. Whether you are pro-KC or anti-KC, he is simply not the future of this franchise ... so why continue to operate like he is? I'm not saying its an easy decision, Cousins guarantees a healthy, productive player at the position ... albeit wildly streaky and timid in big games.
