hockenson is due $9.4mm in 2023....

Interesting. He's a really good player, but I hate seeing picks go to teams in our own division. Another underneath target for Kirk.

hey, i don't like this deal....

that $9.4mm in 2023 is the franchise tag number - his rookie deal ends this year....

i can't believe we'd give the lions a 2nd rounder for a 10-game rental - kwesi is not a great deal-maker....

We don't have to franchise him. I'd imagine the goal is to sign him to a new deal - not let him walk.

As of now, a delta of a middle 3rd rounder. Probably a 3rd with little return in 2024. So roughly a pair of 3rd rounders.

Right now the Vikings are in line to pick 30th. The Lions are in line to pick first. Their second round pick is slated to be #61 overall. The Lions' 4th round pick is slated to be #102 overall.

The value difference between the two picks is equal to the last pick of the 6th round

Don’t worry. Kwesi’s personnel deals … based on some unholy sabermetric formula … look filthy bad but end up smelling like irish spring commercials in the end. Whatever that means.

Nothing makes any sense.

Kwesi trades for a starter and gives up 6th value---Edit Middle of the Third Round Value.
