I did my part for Correa. Can’t blame me. A few months ago flying to MSP from Houston first class I switched seats with Correa so he could sit with his wife.

I tend to agree. It’s obvious a change is needed at hitting coach. The meeting probably consisted of “Screw this guy. He’s messing us up.” So many players hitting below their career numbers.

I have one nit to pick. The Twins were up by 5 in the 4th inning and Rocco wouldn't let Julian hit against a LHP. The man is obsessed with pinch hitting this year.

It's as much about the player as it is about the hitting coach. The approach at the plate is awful. Home runs mean bigger contracts. Both have a hand in awful.

Gallo OPS of .783 is the second highest on the team. We have three starters and a couple of key bench players who are in the .500's and.600's. Our $30M SS just inched over .700. Gallo's strikeouts are far from the biggest offensive problem on the team.

A couple more great PH decisions. Once again Julien gets pinch hit for and the pinch hitter strikes out. Then Rockhead pinch hits Willie Castro and his .684 OPS for Kirilloff with a .769 OPS and a hit in the game. Castro of course was out.

Weird. One of the best pitching staffs in the NL which is why they traded one of their best pitchers for Arreaz.

The story of the night was Bailey Ober again. He just continues to rock. Last night: 7 IP, 0 R, 2 H, 0 BB, 8 K.

Ober proves the...even a blind squirrel can find a nut...addage for the Falvine regime when it comes to drafting pitchers.
