Sounds like Culpepper and DeBarge are low chase high contact hitters with so-so power. They are both good athletes who figure to have position flexibility, especially Culpepper. They both seem like the type who are expected to progress through the system quickly. Kind of Brooks Lee / Luke Keaschall types. Amick could be another through the system quickly possibility. It depends on how well pitchers exploit his aggressiveness. He seems to be a good value pick. I know at least one draft guru mocked him to the Twins in the 1st round. Dasan Hill sounds like an intriguing high school pitcher with a lot of upside. Of course at 17, we wont know for a few years whether he is a starter, reliever, injury prone or a bust. As usual, the Twins don't devote enough early picks to pitching for my satisfaction.

Correa to miss the allstar game. Good. Resting and recovery is more important. The Allstar game is a joke and a waste of time.

Rocco with another brilliant move today. Bases loaded with nobody out and he sent Margot up to pinch-hit. Margot was 0 for 22 as a pinch-hitter. Now he is 0 for 23 with his weak little fly to short center that didn't move anyone up. Of course, the Twins came up empty. I think Rocco's iPad needs an update.

Twins will be lucky to score more than 6 runs in this series. This season, Twins have been awful against good teams. Philly is pretty damn good

Julien is just not going to make it. Even in his ‘breakthrough’ rookie year he struck out too much. Now he just strikes out.

Festa with a decent outing. 4.1 innings of 1 run ball with 7 K. Margot is now 0-24 as a pinch hitter. Today Rocc had him PH for Wallner, whose OPS is 200 points higher than Margot's and had already homered. I think the iPad has a virus.

It's reached the point of stubborn stupidity. Margot now leads MLB at 0 for 26 as a pinch-hitter. Counting walks, he is hitless in 30 plate appearances this season. That's 4 off the major league record held by Jonny Gomes. And again, Rockhead batted him for a player (Larnach) who had homered in a previous AB.
