Kwesi delivers a masterclass to the regime: So Miami has this RB staging a light holdout for a new contract. Let's trade for him and set the contract bar at RB. We'll get some windfall cap later but his contract will have to be heavily backloaded. Pay later, when JJ's cap hits are $50M per, Darrisaw's $30M per, and the kicked cans start popping creating a mess for someone else to clean up! More importantly, what about the real needs you ask? Piece of cake. Since we traded away valuable picks for the pricy RB, we'll build through free agency! We'll pay for overpriced FAs by restructuring, aka kicking cans, cutting, and doubling void year placeholders. As for QB, the most important position, I once said (The Super Bowl) is more likely to win if you have that quarterback (Brady, Mahomes); it’s very unlikely to have that quarterback. So the hell with QB. Besides, QB salaries are tall cotton so it's imperative we continue to cycle in dirt cheap QBs. Let's keep an eye on Russell Wilson for 2027. And Flacco. I left, but my philosophy lives on! Remember The football is oblong and use it as your guiding principle. Sustainable competitive mediocrity is your goal. Zero Dark Thirty out.
