we could trade o'neill for a 2nd or 3rd round pick and save $20mm in 2026...draft a RT in the 2nd or 3rd round and save big bucks....

1st round....CB/DT
2nd round....DT/CB/RT
3rd round....RT/DT
3rd round....C
4th round....RB

bpa for the rest of the draft....

do not trade addiison...extend addison after '26, sign nailor if we can cheap, trade jefferson after '26....

Great year to be sitting out. Haven't watched a single game. I even forgot to check for the results until the next morning a couple of times.

This will be year 6 that will end wo a playoff win since drafting Jefferson.

Of course we got the one round 1 QB that stinks.

There's really no reason to believe this franchise will ever win it all. They will always be dumb and/or choke.

Not missing the Bill and Marty show either.

JJ throwing out the "I learned to play QB different" stuff now, seems like just throwing stuff at the wall to satisfy reporters questions
He played at one of the most prestigious HS in the country, at one of the top football schools in the country under Harbaugh, and we are supposed to believe that he just hasn't had the right coaching?

Outdoor environment vs a hostile crowd and fast defense vs guy who has been jittery and spraying the ball all over the field
Maybe GB being down so many offensive players keeps the game close

Seems like a get right week for Green Bay and the fork is officially put in the season.

Never understood the hype honestly. Though I wanted him to be good. Its looking less likely every passing week. Total project qb with a coach that only seems to make qbs worse as the seasons go along. Yikes.

I think Brosmer has a different make-up than McCarthy. Not the coddled type.

There's absolutely no evidence to suggest otherwise so far. Completely brutal. If he gets 150 yards passing it feels like anyone else having 350.

McConnell deserves a lot of the blame too.
Jefferson thought he was going to be getting Cooper Kupp numbers.
Pretty obvious it was McVay all along. McConnell was just holding a clipboard.
Now Puka is gettting those numbers while Jefferson is practically invisible.
This offense is the worst in the league.

The one good thing about this debacle is KAM and Grigson have to be gone.

They have done such a poor job of adding talent on this team. The Hockenson contract may go down as one of the all time worst.

I think JJ had a chance to save KAM's job, but he also had the chance to end it if we know this year he's not the guy.

It's not crushing if you never had high expectations to begin with! Seriously, outside of some miracle run with JJM a lot of people thought the Vikings would miss the playoffs or at best would be one and done. But yes, this is pretty bad. And Kwesi has managed to bring in a cavalcade of overpriced veterans, can't draft, etc so it's not like the future is necessarily bright.

Fire whoever hired Kwesi and thinks competitive rebuilds are a thing! If the team was merely treading water, the Wilfs would have bailed long ago.

If you were really rebuilding with promising, low cost talent the core would consist of Redmond, Donovan Jackson, maybe Turner, Reichard, and maybe a couple of the other young DL.

JM, based on his tape at Michigan, is more of a make something happen on the fly type of QB. And he's trying his darndest to be a KOC type of QB, and he's just not that, and it's totally messing with him.

Jim Harbaugh might be the perfect coach for JJM. Herbert might be the perfect QB for KOC.

That's a sign of a terrible coach! Adapt your players to the system. It sure seems to be working with our awesome yardage gained in the 2nd half.
