DL, how is your wife doing at the WSOP?

Wolves sign Trey Lyles for the minimum.

Solid depth signing at a position of need.

He has PF size, can hit the 3, is a decent defender and has a career DRB% of 21 (that would've been 2nd on the Wolves last year).

A decent low level signing. What you do on the low end of the payroll can turn out to be important. It’s a long season.

Odds are he is there....why would he reply?

I'm not going to sit and watch her play poker for like 12 hours at a time.

Pretty sure its not even allowed unless its for a final table.

twinsfan -> RE: Timberwolves Gameday (7/14/2026 11:09:41 AM)

Why are they asking Josh Green so many questions at this press conference? He's not even gonna play.

I don't think she played in this tournament. I did a search and found nothing.

twinsfan -> RE: Timberwolves Gameday (7/14/2026 11:14:47 AM)

I'm still listening to the press conference. I think I can answer my own question now. They are asking Josh Green most of the questions because he gives much better answers than the other guy.

Really not what I meant as I wouldn't play poker let alone watch it for that long. Hope she is doing well.

OK, I haven't seen any summer league games, but been following TWolves box scores. Can anyone explain why it appears Joan Beringer only played in the first game and none since? I thought they were going to be giving him time at PF. Hope no injury involved.

He is experiencing some back tightness.

I think that's code for they've seen enough and shut him down.

"I've seen enough of Cousins, Paul. Put him on ice."

Rumor is Wolves looking at Kuminga at PF......wants 6 million and we only have the Minimum currently.......

David Levine -> RE: Timberwolves Gameday (7/31/2026 1:50:12 PM)

Pass.

Also, he wants a lot more than 6M. The author of that piece incorrectly assumed we had access to the 6M exception, so he made that our maximum “offer”.

Honest truth is all of them that end up with the LM want more than the minimum

wrh -> RE: Timberwolves Gameday (8/1/2026 8:30:18 AM)

Any of you all familiar with DAZN? It doesn't make me optimistic to see them highlighting 15 games will be free. Details appreciated!

David Levine -> RE: Timberwolves Gameday (8/9/2026 4:56:10 PM)

When Ant and LaMelo said they we're going to get the team to go to France to work out with Rudy, they weren't playing around.

Everybody but Bones and Donte is there:

RIP Don Nelson

Barrierro had a great story today in how Don Nelson deked Musselman into not drafting Tim Hardaway at 10 and drafting him at 14. We drafted Pooh at 10.

American business leader Marc Stad has completed a deal to become the controlling owner and largest shareholder of the NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves and WNBA’s Minnesota Lynx by buying the majority of co-owner Marc Lore’s stake at a $4.5 billion valuation, sources tell ESPN.

We basically swapped the #1 and #3 guys in ownership. And the existing #2 guy will continue to be the “face” of ownership.

But the #1 has controlling interest, and what do we really know about him? Could be no big deal, or could be a giant headache.

He’s been with ownership from Day 1 and according to Jon K. His interests align with ARod and Lore.

I’m not at all worried. It’s probably good for the Wolves.

Neither Lore or Stad are “rich” by NBA standards, but Stad’s money is built on a solid foundation. Lore’s (until now) has always been a house of cards.
