If you knew me in person you would know that is not even close to true.  but to convey that in an internet forum such as this is much more difficult.

Maybe it's your apparently humorless avatar?

At least my cold, heartless guy has a smile.

You're a funny guy.

I think you need an image consultant.

Hey, this is great General.  Leader of the Klingon people.  and harsh disciplinarian.  He once chucked a subordinate off the second level onto the promenade 15 or so feet below.  Consummate Klingon.

Good call, marty.

The first play we got to see of this last week in the NFL was when entered the hotel lobby and Pitt had a pick six - actually my boys saw it.

I needed this game real bad in my confidence pool - kept me with in 2 points and tied for second. Huge week coming up!

marty -> RE: Predictions for Next Week (and maybe beyond) (12/26/2013 9:43:57 AM)

An even better call by Brad picking NE. I got the last 2 weeks right, hoping to get 3 in a row, released from the shackles of picking GB.

Now we have:

DrViking 6
Brad 3
Marty 3
Prescott 2
Ricky 1

If Rodgers comes back you may want to reconsider

It's not an "if" now.  It's official, he's playing on Sunday vs the Bears.

Strange lines this morning.

My lock of the week? I like Cincinnati giving 6.5 to the Ravens. Statement game for the Bengals heading into the playoffs.

Chargers a 10-point favorite against KC? Something doesn't seem right about that. Jamal Charles must be inactive or something.

Ian Joseph -> RE: Predictions for Next Week (and maybe beyond) (12/29/2013 11:32:49 AM)

Chefs have publicly stated they'd rest their starters. They have nothing to play for. Locked into the 5 seed.

marty -> RE: Predictions for Next Week (and maybe beyond) (12/29/2013 11:50:49 AM)

And I'm going to go with SD - 10 as my lock of the week. I think the Chargers will win by more than 10.

marty -> RE: Predictions for Next Week (and maybe beyond) (12/29/2013 9:23:07 PM)

Good job picking Cincy Brad. I should have stuck with my 1st pick of going with the Steelers again.

Now we have:

DrViking 7
Brad 4
Marty 3
Prescott 2
Ricky 1

Good job brad?

I have been mopping the floor with you guys from the second I started in this thing...

Ricky J -> RE: Predictions for Next Week (and maybe beyond) (12/29/2013 10:23:52 PM)

I had to switch to Dallas in my conf picks because I was behind 2 pts going into the final game. A Dallas win and I win $100. Sheesh!

Tough one to take. I don't think Garrett is a good coach, had Orton passing way to much all game.

marty -> RE: Predictions for Next Week (and maybe beyond) (12/29/2013 10:36:33 PM)

DrViking, Brad now has a 2 week winning streak. You are where you are because I stubbornly believed I was cursing the Packers' season. Brad can still catch you, but he might have to be near perfect. I'll try to help him as much as possible, and am still hoping to finish ahead of him.
