i think our front four, is much less effective this game due to no crowd noise, and grass field i think we only get one sack for the day, the secondary/LBs will need to bring it all game would love to sweep the pukers this year

Harvin misses practice again, is questionable Posted by Mike Florio on October 30, 2009 7:31 PM ETThough coach Brad Childress said Thursday that he expected rookie receiver Percy Harvin to return to practice on Friday, Harvin did not practice due to an undisclosed illness. Harvin, who was named the Diet Pepsi Rookie of the Week after returning a kickoff 88 yards for a score against the Steelers, is listed as questionable. Fullback Fahu Tahi, in an inteview that airs at some point between 10:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. ET on Sporting News Radio's Todd Wright Tonight, suggested that the illness from which Harvin was suffering has no relation to his past issues with migraines. Also, cornerback Antoine Winfield will miss the game due to a foot that reportedly has a fractured bone in it. Receiver Bernard Berrian (hamstring), linebacker Jasper Brinkley (hamstring), and Tahi (knee) are questionable. Quarterback Brett Favre (hip), linebacker E.J. Henderson (knee), linebacker Ben Leber (calf), cornerback Karl Paymah (quadricep), and receiver Darius Reynaud (hamstring) are probable. Favre did not complete a full practice all week. However, the probable designation means that there is a virtual certainty that he'll be available for normal duty, and it's more than virtually certain that he wouldn't miss Sunday's game at Lambeau Field, even if he were missing a limb. For the Packers, running back Korey Hall (calf) and receiver Jordy Nelson (knee) are out. Tight end Jermichael Finley (knee) and center Jason Spitz (back) are doubftul. "Questionables" include tackle Chad Clifton (ankle), safety Derrick Martin (hamstring), and defensive end Jarius Wynn (hamstring). The 3 times I switched to the Vikes on gameday (SF, GB and Baltimore), I was solid with the opposition until gameday. I am wavering this week. While it's now even harder for me to picture the Vikes winning without Winfield, the team MIGHT be thinking how this puts them in the drivers' seat for the division, and a shot at home field advantage. Remember Vikes: lose this game and you are probably giving up a chance at homefield throughout the playoffs. But I think the Pittsburgh game now put it in the Vikes' psyche that if they play disciplined they could beat ANY team on the road. They ARE the kind of team that could go on the road and win in the playoffs, but do they REALLY want that most difficult and unlikely road ? Homefield advantage is nice for the Vikes because of the loudness of the crowd, but I think they have trouble putting teams away, or blowing teams out because I think the officials try to "even things out" by allowing opposing teams' movement on their OL and plenty of holds.

I predict an Adrian Peterson-led Vikes victory...the man will want to right the wrong that was done to him when they pulled him out of the Steelers game after his primal scream run. He willed us to a victory last year vs. GB in the dome and he's not going to let us lose to them for a long, long time actually. I see a high scoring game. 33-27 Vikes.

I think the Packers will key on Rice and can stop Peterson at home. I don't think Peterson will will the team to victory on the road. And if it boils down to one play, I think somebody on the Pack will be on Greg Lewis. I think IF the Vikes win, it will be a pass to possible ROY, PERCY HARVIN.

Remember Vikes: lose this game and you are probably giving up a chance at homefield throughout the playoffs. Possibly - we will see what ATL can do to the Saints. Also, with the Giants falling apart we should at least be able to get a BYE with a win over the Giants here Plus that would ensure that any playoff rematch would be in the comfy confines of the Dome Sweet Dome.

Win or lose things change so fast in the NFL . All I heard was how good the Giants were, and then they lose a game and lose so much respect! Don't worry about home field advantage, the Giants, the Saints, or anybody but the Packers this week.

I think BOTH teams are putting wayyyyy too much emphasis on one game, especially one this early. This game may mean very little in a couple weeks. Just hoping people don't jump off cliffs if things don't go perfectly. This is usually not my style, (I sometimes freak out over Game 37 of a 162 Game baseball schedule [&:]), but in the grand scheme of this season, it is simply one game. GB won't have anything up on us even if they crush us Sunday. We just need to show up, play hard, and let the chips fall. Let them stupidly sell-out the season over one game.

The Vikings win and they are in the drivers' seat. If they lose, you can bet the Packers will be right there to the end of the season.

The Favre factor makes it that. I believe this will be a more neutral fan base at this game. A buddy of mine is going, he is a Packer fan, he will be wearing green, but he said in his heart he will be rooting for Favre, and the Vikes. I'm not sure I understand that, but it is what it is.

I think all the people cheering for Favre, will upset the PACKER players. "This is OUR house!", and they will win it for Aaron Rodgers. Welcome to Mr. Rodgers playground. Packers will lead 20-3 at halftime. Final score: PUKERS 33 Vikes 24 It would really $uck to get the score right 2 weeks in a row. I REALLY hope I'm wrong on this one. Sorry, but I can't see the Vikes going into GB and winning without Winfield and Berrian. I think Harvin will get hurt in the 1st half, so the WRs will be Rice (triple covered), Lewis and Johnson. I see most everyone in the national media is picking the pukes to win this game. The Vikings are better in almost every position so I don't see this game being as close as most think. We will pull away in the 2nd half and win by 10 points.
