As for the Big10 angle, I really don't think that means all that much in today's college basketball landscape. The college basketball world is shrinking and programs are getting closer and closer together. Plus with the dominance of football and its money more and more "non football" powers are turning their attention to spending money on basketball. So you can have Butlers and VCU's paying coaches just as much as the big boys. With similar success as well. Hell, look at the last few years in the tournament. Right. Why go to a spot like Minnesota -- with huge drawbacks right now -- where you'll get fired if you underperform for 4 years, when you can stay at a smaller school, get paid comparable money, get to the NCAA Tournament just about every year, and have a lifetime job?
