Have to believe the end is approaching for Pitino

Cannot get top in state recruitment to pay dividends

How much longer are his recruits going to be allowed to underperform

Doesn't do him any good to bring in these highly rated recruiting classes if he can't coach them. From what I have seen, he can't coach them.

Just the most boring offense. Murphy, Oturo, and Coffey worked with any offense. He needs to get creative now, which he hasn't done in 7 years.

& his defense of man to man has failed.

Two BB coaches hired in MN who were woefully under prepared for the job. Pitino and Saunders.

I like hiring young aggressive people who are on the way up but for crying out loud, hire young aggressive people who have already developed a track record, albeit a short one.


Pitino.....one year as a head coach..........had success in the one year at FIU.

Saunders.........a few games as interim head coach.

I realized it worked with Rocco.....but Rocco is brighter than the average bulb in the batch. Are Pitino or Saunders that bright??????

Gopherss did what they were supposed to do and took care of a weak team at home. Surprisingly their rating for tournament consideration is not that bad. It’s figured differently this year.

Now comes a tough part of the schedule though. If they remain a bubble team, which seems like the best case scenario, that Purdue 2OT loss will be the one they’ll look back on and sigh and say “if only...”

Rest of the team gets going, score 75 and win over Michigan

Oturu finishes with 30 points. Too bad he wasn't a force like this last year. Maybe wouldn't have been w/Murphy anyway.
