Damnit!!! Huge run by Kirkwood negated by two penalties on the Gophers!



Freakin' 30 yard penalty on the offense....don't know if I've ever seen that.

When you consider Kirkwood ran for about 25 yards on that play, we were set back 55 yards.

Cursed by our own strength there.  Our pass D was so good that it forced the QB into a scramble and TD run.  Bummer.  Nothing you can do about it other than play worse pass D and make the guy throw the ball.

This defense is just embarrassing. That's the game. Kill has never won here when trailing at half time. Epping should be beaten to a pulp at half time.

You CANNOT play our straight 4-3 defense when they are using 3 & 4 WR sets. I can't believe they are doing that!!

So far we're keeping it close. Q needs to stay at QB. Seems like a no brainer....

Didn't force a single punt or turnover. 

But the 24 points looks worse than it was for the D.....don't forget the special teams allowed a 99 yard kickoff return TD.

And keep pounding them with his legs...and Kirkwood.  Throw in the occasional bootleg with run always being an option for Gray.  Throw a few passes here and there to keep 'em honest.

But our D has to stop them at least twice in the 2nd half to have a chance.  Also need to force at least one big turnover.

Too bad the 15 extra practices didn't fix our punting. Another shank gave them ball around our 40......

He's terrible.  And we went all the way to Australia to find him?  There's nobody else between here and Australia that can punt any better?

Remember Orseske? He's probably even worse. There is no way.....no way..... that Pete Mortell can be as bad as those two. Might as well give him a try.

Don't you guys think Syracuse is being pumped up a little too much by ESPN?  I mean they lost to the Gophers.  I expect West Virginia to destroy them.

I see what went wrong with the bad throw.  He threw it just a millisecond before it became clear that they had blown the coverage.  He was trying to put it where only his receiver had a chance.  If he had been able to see the blown coverage, I'm sure he would have easily hit him for the TD.

That was a nice playcall.  Bring in Gray to distract the D.  Nelson showed off some nice speed on that designed run. 

Texas Tech's defense is worse than MN's.

This is extremely close.

Thought he was down on first replay.

Now it looks like knee didn't touch ground (somehow).

So often they call those types TD on the field, and so often they are actually down before the goal line.  Had a bad feeling about that one from the beginning.
