They blew that one. Yeah, the elbow was down.....AFTER the ball broke the plane. The only real question was both knees, and replay showed they were not down. Terrible. At least we still get the TD. Too bad for Engel though.

No way we shoulda lost that game.

Jerry Kill is just same old same old as far as Gophers football goes.  Inexcusable loss.  We had the game won.

If Glen Mason got fired for blowing a bowl game, Jerry Kill shouldn't feel comfortable with his job at all right now.  That was just as blown IMO.

Some rough spots for sure, but overall....actually better than I expected. I don't like losing to some of the chippy d-bags they have on that team, but we had our chances & probably should have won. Certainly a game that could have went either way. Hopefully more building blocks for next year.

Astounding to me that we went down with our best offensive player on the sidelines during the last drive.

Astounding to me that our best offensive player, biggest playmaker, etc., is off the field more often than he is on.

In that respect, we deserved the loss we got.

Late in 4th qtr, I was hoping for Gray and got him. But we needed to run the clock and had the right QB in there at the time, but why in the heck call 2 pass plays with him in there? He is not accurate , but good for running game. Defense needs to honor fake runs by him which enables RB a little more space. Poor play calling late on both sides. Defense got soft in last minute and a half. Can't leave the middle open for team that like to run slants

The reason Gray came here was because after committing, he didn't have the grades so he went to an extended HS and Minn said they would still honor commitment so he rewarded the loyalty to come here even though he had another good year at the extended HS

Horrific.
Game was lost at twelve, eight, and four minutes left.
Losing by 40 would have been easier.
Horrific play calling and clock management.
Horrific.
