I'm dreaming. But how big would a win for BSU be tonight? A win vs. #2 UND in their opening weekend, and a win against #1 MN in their next series??? I'd say that deserves a ranking if it happens.

Now the Gophers are going on a PP. I'm sure this is where the dream ends.

Finally watched about 3 minutes uninterrupted. Impressed with Walsh during that stretch. Stopped a couple point-blank shots.

This years BSU team looks vastly improved from last year.

Pulled Walsh with 1:12 to go...crunch time. And then get nailed with too many men because the extra attacker got on the ice too soon....too many men penalty.

Announcers completely screwed up what was going on the last minute. They said it was gonna be a too many men on the ice penalty on BSU for intentionally procrastinating line changes during a break. This was at the same time they pulled Walsh. I was convinced the refs were just screwing over BSU.

Turns out the announcers had it all wrong and it was a TO called by BSU.

Enjoy the season guys.

I was kind of in and out of both games this weekend. From what I saw, both were very entertaining and up and down the ice. Usually that would be really bad news for the Beavers, but they seemed to go toe to toe with the Gophers. I'm excited that I get to cheer for the Gophers again now!

BTW Matt, I don't know either of the announcers on the BSU TV crew, so you don't have to worry about that! I think they do about as good as you can expect with the equipment/production they have. Let's get some WCHA points against Alaska next weekend!

Because this thread has been used 99% for Bemidji State, and BSU was playing the Gophers. I'm sure others would have preferred I posted live in the Gophers thread, but since I started it, and I'm one of the 2 BSU fans, I decided to post it here.

I'm not a big fan of the Huskies. But I don't dislike them.
