Huge series against conference leader Michigan Tech this weekend. The games are in Bemidji, so I get to watch them on TV. Maybe drew will even be in attendance. Michigan Tech's overall record is a perfect 8-0-0, with 28 goals for, and 9 goals against. A split would be nice; if we get a sweep, we're for real.

Big games for sure Matt!!! Looking forward to it, but I'll probably be watching on TV like you. The wife is gone at a conference tonight, so I'm on Daddy Daycare duty. But the game's going to be on TV!!! We'll see about tomorrow night. My son really liked the game when we went a couple of weeks ago - it didn't hurt that we won 6-1.

I agree though, a split would be nice. Anything else would be great! Sounds like Tech, MN State, and Bowling Green are the early frontrunners in the WCHA. It'd be nice to get home ice this year.

Well Matt, we pretty much dominated the #5 team in the nation last night. But we lost. Hockey can be frustrating!!!

Another loss for BSU. Announcers call it a moral victory. I'm worried we're not getting wins. Might miss the playoffs. [:@]

Dammit!! We suck, we suck, we suck again!!! Getting sick of the losses. They're piling up even more quickly than usual.

Michigan Tech gets their first L of the season, dropping to 10-1-0.

Mankato is probably the 2nd best team in the area.

BSU is 3-8, but the goal differential is not too bad. 31 GF and 37 GA. Losing too many close games. Had a chance again tonight. Tied 1-1 going into the 3rd. Lost 3-1 as we gave up an empty-netter late. Frustrating.

Best college hockey program in Minnesota SCSU gets a big win over NDU 3-1 on Friday. Go for the sweep tonight guys.

Those Alaska schools are both having terrible seasons. I thought they were both supposed to be pretty good.

Theres no one that stands out, at least for more than one weekend.

3-2 loss for BSU. But we outshot them 37-26. Becoming the story of our season. Our goaltending is kind of killing us. Well, that, and our shooting percentage must be horrible.

I know Matt, it's been frustrating to watch us regularly outshoot teams and still lose. Maybe it's karma for years of us competing with bigger teams while being outshot 2 to 1 in most games.

Look at the latest top 20 poll. We are 3-9, and all of our losses are against teams in the top 10 in the country. We have had a brutal schedule. I still hold out hope that we can get on a good run when we face a more reasonable part of the schedule. I just hope we're not digging too deep of a hole right now.

This team makes me so mad. That's how you turn a 3-2 win into a 6-3 loss. At least they're succeeding in making their goal differential line up with their record now. Not sure I can watch them anymore. Congrats kgdabom on the win.

We're ahead almost the entire game, and tied for most of the rest of it, and you lose 6-3. No gettin' over that one.

I totally feel your pain Matt. You have just described a couple of decades of Minnesota sports teams and what fans have had to endure.

The parity in college hockey has reached ridiculous levels.
The best team in the country label is WIDE open. And will be.

I'm still floored that a team that was supposed to be pretty decent ... (Wiscy) ...... hasn't won a game yet. Let that sink in.
