On this date: Thome hits two homers to pass Killebrew
On July 3, 2010, Jim Thome hit career home runs 573 and 574 to pass Harmon Killebrew on the all-time home run list.

I like Jim, I forgive him.

Why does this keep happening - Liam Hendricks who sucked when he was with us is suddenly lights out for Oakland. Lance Lynn who was a piece of garbage for the Twins is suddenly goes deep into games for the Rangers and has won 10 games. [X(]

Lance Lynn was grossly out of shape and never wanted to play for the Twins in the first place. He signed late because the Twins paid him.

Mr. Ed -> RE: Former Twins News (7/13/2019 4:11:01 PM)

Happy 67th Birthday to former #MNTwins SS prospect Dale Soderholm. He was the Twins 1st round pick (21st overall) in 1971 out of High School in Miami. He was in the Twins organization from 1971-1978.

Any relation to Eric Soderholm?

Mr. Ed -> RE: Former Twins News (8/5/2019 1:48:58 PM)

Didn't realize he was so old.

Why? Are you an age discriminator? Wouldn't do that if I were you.

SoMnFan -> RE: Former Twins News (8/14/2019 9:53:31 AM)

I love Charleyyyyyy
But he's done
And I woulda assumed the Phils wanted to move on from the Manuel Era
I'll see how you feel when when we get the 1970's guys back on payroll here ...

twinsfan -> RE: Former Twins News (8/22/2019 2:25:42 PM)

Ryan Pressly out 4-6 weeks following knee surgery. That trade is looking OK for the Twins.

twinsfan -> RE: Former Twins News (9/6/2019 1:37:56 PM)

Happy 43rd birthday Michael Nakamura!

He is even more out of shape pitching for the Astros than he was pitching for the Twins and the Yanks.

You are correct.....he wanted to play in MN about as much as Tommy Herr wanted here.

Nobody does.

Steve Lentz -> RE: Former Twins News (9/20/2019 8:47:37 PM)

13 out of 14 Twins retired in a row. I guess we like to wait until the late innings.

Steve Lentz -> RE: Former Twins News (9/20/2019 8:55:34 PM)

Always Gordon against the Twins.

Steve Lentz -> RE: Former Twins News (9/20/2019 9:19:32 PM)
