Huge hit by Gonzalez.

He's not a former Twin [;)]

This happens to Steve a lot. Is this what I have in store in a few years.

Usually watching 2 baseball games and reading the paper at the same time.

Holy shit I feel old after reading that.

He was very underrated IMO. A catcher that hit .300

I was at a Iowa Cubs game several years ago and I think he was batting coach for one of the teams.

LOVED that dude.
My kind of player
ALWAYS came thru when we needed him, in huge times.
I'll never forget him taking that Lonnie Smith takeout slide, showing him the ball, and calmly trotting back to the dugout with a smile on his face.
Underappreciated stud.

I tore my labrum the year I got to the Twins in 2013. Biggest disappointment in my career was ever getting traded there.

Yeah the Twins and fans were disappointed too [;)]

Mr. Ed -> RE: Former Twins News (12/18/2019 8:05:49 AM)

Can’t say I feel it’s ALL the Twins fault

I guess they were supposed to fix a guy who walked too many

And got hurt a lot

Mr. Ed -> RE: Former Twins News (12/29/2019 5:58:19 PM)

Failed development pitcher JT Chargois…#2 pick...has left the Dodgers to pitch in Japan.

Why do I still want to body slam Punto and stomp on his mouth?

Because he deserves it.
I can’t go more than 3 weeks without having to slam Punto and Mauer.
They were that bad.
Yet, there are still sheople who love them.

Mr. Ed -> RE: Former Twins News (2/26/2020 11:20:08 AM)

Stewart is currently sidelined with a biceps injury. One of two Baltimore players who have yet to pitch in camp.

Mr. Ed -> RE: Former Twins News (2/26/2020 1:34:50 PM)

If anybody was worried about Nick Burdi's velocity coming back after his bout with neurogenic thoracic outlet syndrome last season: It's Feb. 26, and he's touching 100 mph. Whole bunch of 98s and 99s as he struck out two in the fourth inning just now.
