The Lynx have posted the (almost lost) crazy 1st qtr from the game at Seattle that wasn't on live access.

Have to go to the Lynx Facebook page, the 1st qtr is in 2 parts :

We get them on the various boards here every week or two. They usually drop 2 or 3 posts before a mod catches and deletes them.

You haven't likely seen others because they do a great job catching them quickly here.

Big game for the Lynx at Target Center tonight. Gonna be a zoo with parking for both the Twins and Lynx games. Who schedules these games at the same time?

I don't know but when the combined games let out, the traffic in the area will more interesting to watch than NASCAR.

Not sure the traffic was too bad. Lynx got done about 9:00 Twins game wasn't done till almost 10pm. Seems lots of folks were still hanging around downtown anyway. Wasn't that big of a deal.

This was a fun & entertaining game. Was kind of neat that Kevin Garrnet was in the house w/Troy Hudson. A couple of the Vikings in the house (recognized Ray Edwards). Cool that those guys continue to catch WNBA game. Felt sorry of KG becasue this street person (Jessie Ventura) came over & sat next to him and talked thru the whole game. Doubt KG had planned on that But boy does Ventura look like a homeless bum off the street

Anyway some articles

From St Paul P-Press (looks like an AP article)

Sundays game is at 2pm ct but looks like local FSN will show the game tape delay (after the Twins ?) at 5:00pm
It will be an ATL broadcast but that's ok. Will be nice to be able to watch how they do on the road.

Lynx win on the road today after running up the score 26-10 in the first quarter. They must be good on defense on the road.

Edit:
I watched much of the game on tape delayed broadcast and I could see that the Dream were limited to very few easy baskets and the boards were dominated by several Lynx players. (Not just one)

The Lynx were especially good at the fast break. They were really fast going down the court.

This is the first game that I've seen of them this year and I was very much impressed.

Brunson barely kept that double double streak alive with 10 and 10 yesterday. There is a lot of balance, which is working well. There is no competition to be the top scorer every night, which has resulted in a balanced offense. Simone Augustus is quickly re-establishing her game, while Maya Moore is making her adjustments. Whalen is quietly second in the league in assists (6.5 per) and has an A/TO of 4.33 and gets to the line a lot.

Whalen is still really good at quickly driving into the land and then making good decisions- either to dish it back out or to go for the basket. Too bad she doesn't play for the Wolves. That's what we need.

The ladies lost 2nd in a row. They reminded me of the Wolves letting players stand outside the arc putting up 3's

I wasn't buying into the hype at first. Figured just typical Minnesota excitement about nothing. But looks like they might be for real!

Well, they just beat the worst team in the WNBA. I wouldn't make too much out this win, even if it was one sided.

How about having a .667 winning % and being 1 game off the best record in the league?

The fact that they split their games with Seattle in Seattle was really nice. They have two games at home with the defending champs, yet. Those should be interesting games.

Which team has the best winning percentage, David?

Edit: I just checked. It looks like San Antonio and Indiana have better winning percentages and Connecticut has the same record as the Lynx. The Lynx have not played San Antonio yet, to my knowledge.

The Lynx top three scorers are all averaging 13 and a fraction points per game. Sounds like a pretty balanced attack.

Wow looks like the team finally gets back to action tomorrow (Sat) night @7pm at TC vs. the CT Sun. ... why the league has 6, 7 & 8 day breaks early in the schedules like this is beyond rediculous

Game is also on local TV FSN-North (& NBATV)

That was a good win against a quality opponent the other day. (vs. Connecticut) I'm sorry I missed the second half, but they must have turned up the D, and I bet that that was the key to the game. (That and Maya Moore really lighting it up from 3 point range)

Another loss at home. Disappointing. That happens a lot here. We have high expectations for our teams and then they let us down.

Totally agree here.
Not going to try and snow anyone that I know a thing about this Lynx team, other than it seems to be our best hope for a "winner" in this town of losers.
Then why do I have this dreadful feeling they'll disappoint?
Prove me wrong, ladies.

It's one thing to have losing teams. It's another to have teams with high expectations that utterly were not met. We need a local team to turn this around.

For the Lynx, it can best be hoped that they save their best basketball for the playoffs. They certainly have the capability, imo. For now, I'm thinking that I need to temper my expectations down a level.
