Lynx respond with a quick 7-0 run but Phoenix scores eight in a row to take the lead. 23 seconds to go in the half and we are going to go to the locker room a little demoralized no matter what happens in those final seconds.

Taurasi and PHX losing their cool a bit here.

5 fouls on them with over 6 left in the quarter.

Maya Moore with a hot start to the second half and Lynx up one with the ball. Mercury have been honestly shoving the Lynx players while we are on offense and the officials choking on their whistles on a few of those. As I type this the officials start calling them.

Tan White takes a charge on Taurasi with Lynx clinging to two point lead. Taurasi's fourth.

We have to keep Griner further from the basket. She gets the ball within 8 feet it is pretty much over. McCarville does a much better job than Peters. I would guess there is about 50 pounds difference between the two.

Why doesn't Dantas play any more? She was better than Peters when Brunson was out.

I think she's a bit worn down. And she got absolutely abused by Griner when Brunson was out.

Just seems strange. Dantas seems a little more physically imposing than Peters to me. Anyway Penny Taylor single handedly keeping the Mercury in the game so far this fourth quarter.

Speaking of... where's Brunson? Oh, good, she's back in. She looked a bit off earlier.

Dantas is bigger, but she doesn't do as well against physical players. She's very finesse right now.

3:42 to go and the Mercury take a three point lead on back to back baskets by Taurasi. McCarville took a three that led to a fast break for the Merc.

Whalen goes one on five and loses the ball but we get the ball back no harm and Augustus makes a shot. Offensive foul on Griner and Augustus gets us the lead back. I called it.

AUgustus misses a three that would have gave us a four point lead.

Why isn't Maya touching the ball? Wanted to see Maya and Augustus take over. Not Augustus only.
