Lynx have been unwatchable through 1 quarter.

Down 14.

Holy shit. They can't handle a little success.

Maya as great as she is has one problem. She started the season shooting ridiculous well from three but now she can't seem to make the three any more. Sure she has had a couple good games but a lot of 1-7 or stuff like that. Tonight 0-5 as I type this. Let's see if she can turn it around in the last half of the fourth quarter.

2-16 in the fourth. Yikes finally Augustus makes a shot. Lynx by two with just under a minute to go. Fever shooting FTs. Makes both tie game. 58.3 to go. Lynx 1-11 from three. Fever 7-14 that is the only reason this game is tied.

LOL DL we were typing it at the same time. Lynx dodge a bullet with a Fever miss. Lynx ball with chance for last shot.

Nice.
The ability to win when you don't play well.
One of the steps, in being great.

10 straight. And undefeated with "no offensive contributions from" Brunson.

Thought I'd expand on your observation

Lindsay trying to keep us in the game.

Sometimes .... more like doing too much …… guess I'd like to see more of the playmaker.

Too often I find the offense to be a hot mess relative to the talent on the team. If the off balance shots are falling it’s the greatest thing ever. ….. but on nights when things aren’t fallin it can be plain messy. When Whay is dive bombing into the paint looking only to score there is no offensive rhythm to the team what so ever. Result tends to be poor spacing on the floor; post players putting the ball on the floor way too much in the crowd & getting striped; rushed & poor shot selection; post attempting to set screens the guards don’t use; too much one-on-one “I have to do this myself” shots; post settling for 15+foot jumpers. Watching this game nearly had me toss my computer across the room.

The defense is always a constant work but to repeat they need to re-find their offensive composure to make it a bit easier on themselves. I expect they’ll keep working so I’ll take the ugly wins, that shows the fight in the team

We win but the Mercury win also. Took over the game against the 3rd best in the league Atlanta Dream in the fourth quarter. We showed last night that we are able to pull out tight games at the end, but we also have potential to have tight games with one of the weaker teams in the league.

Should be noted the Dream were without their 6-4 center Brazilian E. DeSousa. So while ATL had a slow start in this one, that they hung in and got the lead down to 6 with 1:30 left was still a good sign for them.

Mean while Lynx host the Chi Sky tonight, @7:00pm - on ESPN2
