If you are patient, you'll level up in the D league and then pop some clams for equipment and sign with one of the new teams.

I think that's probably a great plan for building a DE. I have a DE as well and I try to keep STR, SPD, AGL and TCKL all around the same number. A little vision here and there can't hurt either... and be sure not to neglet stamina... DEs use up A LOT of stamina... You want your stamina to be around 30+ by Lv. 11 or so, so get it to around 20+, then train exclusivley for stamina for a season, and you should be good on energy. You may have not have noticed it yet because of the scrimmage games, but once the 'real' games start up again, energy/stamina plays a big factor.

Piss on blocking... do that later. Train vision while you're waiting for SP.

This is a level one player, correct?

yup

The thing is on the blocking... i watch the plays that I'm in for in the "scrimage games" and such... watching the electrobowl players vibrate around the screen doing impossibly stupid things... ( the nose tackle I platoon with is useless and the DT is just as bad usually....) and almost always in passing situations I get Double team blocks from the RT and TE or The RT and RG or RT and a chip block from the HB going to the flat...speed does nothing if you cant shed the blocks,,, i spent a skill point on shed blocks and the guides say that blocking skills enhance this... since i cant aford even 10 bucks on a CC, atm, to "buy" skill points... I train in weaknesses to enhance the skills i have... it may not be a great plan, but until i get some cash flow that doesn't involve paying old medical bills and bailing my wife's ass out of financial stupidity... Cie La Vie..

I've got no money to spend on this thing.

I'm only hanging on with moderate interest with hopes that the enjoyment level increases when someone here lands a team.

I almost got my guy up to level 9 this year and will continue to plug along.

speed 35.8
agility 20.19
stamina 28.99
tackling 19.8
training on strenth up to 19.06

all the rest are 16 or less

I was so weak that I thought I should get the strength up.

I took your advice and switched it to vision.

I take it the next season isn't too far away?

Prolly about 6 days.

STR at 19 is good for that level. FS needs a ton of vision and agility. Tackling is over rated in my opinion for secondary.

And as in the real world, speed makes up for a lot of deficiencies. In real life you can't teach speed, in this game, you can.

I'm not sure why I threw a few on tackling at all really.

I'll work at getting the vision up with a 2 speed, 1 stamina, 1 agility and 1 vision for a while.

Your tackling looks good, don't worry about it, the points are spent. Speed, agility, vision = great FS.

And stamina is for every player except PK and Punter. Keeps you in game play which is where you really gain XP.

I have a kicker that played on a 0-13 team since he's been there. No FG attempts or extra points. Signed as level 5, 13 games and he's not even level 7 training on normal.

Game XP is the key.

I felt I got gypped on XP.

When I first signed on with the computer team I was behind a guy and then when I started to gain levels I started, then suddenly a higher ranked FS got the rest of the starts.

You are so going to low ball me when you look at my stats.

Think character signing.

CPU teams play every player no matter their build or level. Smart team owners don't care about you D League stats, they look at your build.

I have a team

I'll make Sammy a GM real quick so he can start helping.  Everyone else should post their players link(s) so we can start signing them.

We need to agree on a name too.

Todd.. you need to use the link that has your user ID number in it. Go to one of your player's home page, click the agent link that is your user name, and use that URL.

Toby found me and gave me an offer.

What the heck is a Sao Tome and Principe roller?

Are we the rollers from Sao Tome and Principe?
