I signed up at goal line blitz.. but I haven't created a player... it seems every position is awash in players even center and gaurd..

I'd prolly be a DE or DT or MLB or maybe a WR but those positions have tons of players/team already...

What level are you Steve?  If you are fairly low I wouldn't boost just yet because you'll level faster.  Of course, boosting right away helps your team so it's up to you.

That is a tough call. If you're on a decent team, you get fair playing time and it's okay to be a backup. I lean toward leveling up and relying on game XP. I'll probably level up the lower guys and wait a while on the higher ones. Everybody has a different opinion it seems.

Like Toby said earlier - Speed never hurts and it makes up for other things.

Except for kickers and puters, when in doubt, boost speed.

I'd say definitely take advantage of the end-of-season boost for this season no matter what level you are. That's a no-brainer. Next season, I'd say if you're Lv. 7 or under, boosting at the start of the season wouldn't be a bad choice. Obviously it would be better to wait till playoff time, but if you're like me, the temptation to boost earlier is just too much. I'm going to try and keep most of my players unboosted till the end of the season next season.

But, it would be nice to have an entire team un-boosted for the whole season and then all boost at once for the playoff push or the playoffs themselves..

I'm at 171 so I would say that for sure I'm getting one almost as soon as they release the new ones.

If you're gonna build from the bottom, I have 5 D leaguers that can play. Otherwise I'm just going to ride out a CPU season with them.

Ditto. I have a Lv. 8 OT, Lv. 8 G, (2) Lv. 6 TEs (1 recv, 1 blk), and a Lv. 5 RB all in D-leagues waiting till you (we ) get a team and decide about what Lv. players we need/want.

My other players are leveled up more, but will need to be negotiated for.

Mark.. just as long as your level 5 RB knows his role as my level 9 RB's backup.

Backups are just as important as starters so we'll need all the players we can get.  The higher the level the better too.  Should have a team in a couple days!!!

Maddox is a high level 9 that is about to get 4 boosts (3 for the season + 1 coming from about to level up - about 200 points from the next level).  Going to increase his confidence, ball carrying, elsuive back abilities, strength and speed significantly.  Would like him to be a 50 speed back in the next couple of weeks.

I just found out a team wants to trade my lvl 9 WR..... Signed through 3-24

The team I'm on sucks but the trade they are talking is WR #5 on a BBB team. Sounds buried.... I'm damn near 10 and I think a good build. I think it's a buddy thing which is kewl but they should tell a guy.

I'm waiting for the owner to tell me. The other team contacted me and I was surprised.

If I refuse I'll prolly get dropped from the depth chart anyhow....

my player...

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=506508

I have a cash flow problem right now or I'd buy some skill points and up a few traits..
Right now I'm training on blocking cause I'm constantly double teamed and need to shed some of those pesky doubles.

You would want to train strength up for shedding blocks Dan, training blocking for a DE won't do much good I don't think.

Strength is my highest attribute ATM so i trasin in other areas.. as best i can as a dleagw level 1....

from the guides:

Blocking - If you plan running any kind of offense you're going to need plenty of good blockers. Blocking helps your player to keep his target occupied longer. For defensive players, knowing how to block helps you know how to shed blocks a little easier.

I spent a skill point on shed blocks already and I'm training in blocking to up it's effectiveness.
