AD is a lowlife. Beat his kid until his balls bled (the kid’s balls not his). I sat in disbelief at the standing O for Fumbly McDoesn’tblock.

Are you going to quit the team when they add him to the Vikings Ring of "Honor"?

Elf's number is surprising to say the least.

Thought Bradbury looked really good esp on the screens.

PFF clarified that Elflein wasn't downgraded for the holding penalties because "they were ticky tack".

Are you going to cheer for bloody balls and playoff fumbles?

ha ha - funny

I'm guessing there were 23 post about how bad Elf sucked. I was curious how Kirk could throw for 23/26 & 285 and Cook & Mattison go off like they did if he sucked that bad.

Stand up for once. Enough of the post and dodge, post and dodge. Put some skin in the game.

No need to get all butt hurt.

Sorry SMF, the same is back at ya. My post wasn't meant at you that way (although I did a shitty job at relaying that…). I was just pointing out AD's reaction during a losing game and him hamming it up on the sidelines.

I have no problem with the fans throwing him a bone (even if I don't agree with some of the things he did). He was a big part of this franchise.

Thursday night the applause was about AD passing a couple of all time greats in rushing yards. The applause was about recognizing the fact he was wearing Purple when he accomplished so many of his historic marks. AD was moved by it. Let it go folks.

Churchill once said that having enemies means a person stood up for themselves and took a stand. By that measure I feel pretty secure about myself.

Then take your stand. Are you going to quit the team when they add him to the Vikings Ring of "Honor" (or "Honour" if you prefer the way Churchill would have spelt it)?

A simple yes or no. Either way, it won't make you my enemy.

No I won’t quit the team. But I will do some of the fiercest frowning ever seen. I’m not sure why quitting the team is the test. Can’t I dislike a self-absorbed lowlife loser and still be a fan of the team much in the same way someone who doesn’t like raisins picks them out of their salad?

I was just curious how the TEAM giving him that honor would sit with you.

An interesting article for discussion. It gives further credence to replacing Elflein and some perspective on how Cousins has enjoyed taking advantage of less than stellar opposition defenses.

They beat the teams they were supposed to beat. The Vikings didn't make the schedule. The goal is to get better as the season progress'es. There is no easy games in the NFL. It isn't college.

Chicago certainly thought the Vikes were easy - that pancake has been flipped, though

- but hey, I get it.

- the NFL is just so hard to get a complete handle on

I’d put him in the ring of honor because that is a (mostly) pure football honor. And Peterson is one the best pure runners ever. He was shitty at everything else about his job, but the running is enough in my opinion.

Exactly. We're measuring or honoring the football player and what he accomplished on the field.

AD isn't winning "man of the year" anytime though.
