I like the idea of blitzing the good QBs. They will pick you apart if they have time.

Key to beating KC next weekend. Split the RB's out wide.

.10 used to be the borderline for legal and illegal when I was young, if I'm not mistaken. My question is why was he pulling over on the freeway? Of course there are probably even better questions like why didn't he call an Uber.

Vikings are 3rd in total offense and 5th in total defense (yards per game).

Who are the #Vikings going to have Xavier Rhodes cover next week?

Bc he is not keeping up with Tyreek Hill or Mecole Hardman

Just a thought on the roster spot for Kearse. I do not believe the Vikings do this, though.

Chiefs Hardman is extremely fast. He took that screen for about 30 yards when it looked like nothing was there.

Meanwhile we're throwing screens to perhaps the slowest guy in the league.

I doubt his 2-4 game suspension will happen this year....It will take a couple months just to get a court date.

Chiefs don't look too good without Mahomes. We should be so lucky if he can't go next week.

I thought Moore played pretty well. KC on the road will be a very tough game. Historically, this one goes in the L column. We shall see.

Some combo of Hughes, Waynes, Mack, Hill should be on the field and X should be on the pine. Need the speed. Although, X might not be a bad guy to put on Kelce. I'd say Kearse would be too, who knows what his status will be. Gedeon should not see the field, too slow unless it's short yardage and they bring in their jumbo packages.

I'm not sure Hill belongs on the field. I prefer the other top 3 minus Rhodes.

That's a bs statement. Our screen game is as good as it's ever been and your singling out one screen to Rudy to characterize our screen game.

It's a fair juxtaposition if for nothing more than dramatic effect. It made me laugh, anyway.

Fair - no. Comedic - yes.

We are throwing screens to our fastest players also.

Sometimes they just give you 7-8 yards to slow players too....so you take it.

Maybe next week, actually.

Sounds like Josh Doctson will return soon. We might see two roster moves this week.

That, and gives you the opportunity to use the word "juxtaposition".

I don't think teams practice on Mondays, so its probably too early to hear anything,

If Thielen's injury was correctly diagnosed as a hamstring strain, two weeks should be sufficient time for it to heal.

I don't want to sound like a fool, but how in the heck did JJ Watt suffer a season-ending injury on that play???

Isn't that like having the opportunity to use the word "the"? It's not an uncommon word and not exactly pedantic to use the word in that description. Do you have hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia like the Last Word Troll?

It's kind of like the fat kid/ last kid picked for a sandlot game, Rudy gets more room to operate because the defense doesn't need to worry about him between the 20s. Diggs seemed to get blown up when used on screens in the past as he's such a threat the defense is all over him immediately. As others have stated, Percy Harvin's career was likely shortened from being overused on bubble screens/0-yard passes to overcome Ponder's deficiencies.

Cousins used to look really awkward and unsure of himself on screens and his passer rating on the shortest passes was lower than league average the last time I looked (2018?). Now he seems to use much better touch and timing on screens, which helps them develop better. He's been performing at an amazing level recently and I hope he can continue this improvement. I heard he's performing at a better level this year statistically than Erin against common opponents.
